Life is often impacted by suffering; we experience great pain, loss, and grief. And many times we blame God because he does not protect us or deliver us from suffering.

The most-viewed feature on my blog by far is the About this Blog page; it also receives more comments and interaction than any other page. The page is an important introduction to the entire blog, describing the essence and purpose of the blog and identifying the target audience.

This is to let you know I have updated the page by adding three helpful graphics and a short section on the Good News of Jesus, which brings balance to the emphasis on harmful baggage.

The added graphics illustrate the themes of the blog, and the About Page, very well. They have also proven very sharable in the past, so feel free to share them if you wish.

I don't think so. Jesus actively resists their ‎legalism‬ and refuses to allow them to put burdens on him and his followers.

When people encounter the Good News of Jesus‬, they often try to fit him into their old religious-philosophical system or worldview. But Jesus can never simply be an add-on to an old system. Jesus is transformational.

Are we in danger of trying to fit Jesus into our old system? See three ways Jesus explains how the good news relates to old systems.
