Introduction
Seafood is a powerhouse food. Fish and shellfish nourish our bodies with important vitamins and minerals that keep our hearts healthy and brains sharp. 

According to the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, we should aim to enjoy 8 ounces – at least two servings – of seafood per week. Since the average American eats just 3.5 ounces of seafood a week, this means most of us could stand to double the amount of tasty fish and shellfish in our diets.
