This is one of my "plants at work". This indoor plant, Dracaena Lisa Cane, was about 8 feet tall but was beginning to look a little leggy.
You can often make a plant that has gotten tall and thin look better by cutting back the tallest stems to the center of the plant. That is what I did here.
You can not see where I cut the plant back but there is a stem with no leaves. It will eventually grow some new heads and add more fullness to the look of this plant.

Okay, so summer is almost here and, for the most part, the kids are out of school. Hopefully, you are planning to take a vacation to find some time to relax and enjoy some beautiful scenery.
Here are some ideas for a vacation involving, - what else? - beautiful plants and flowers. Take a look! I would enjoy a trip to the Sonora desert in Arizona. How about you?

Self watering planter box for your small plants and flowers. Great for an apartment patio, balcony or deck. Used and trusted by interior landscape companies.

Do you sometimes feel that your plants are taking over your home or yard? I have a few that I continuously battle in my yard as they are very vigorous growers. Take a look at this fishing village that is having the same problem...or maybe it is not really a problem. It is interesting, though!
Visit www.PlantAndFlowerInfo.com to learn about your house plants and how to keep them healthy and growing! Just don't let them grow too large!
