OUT-STANDING! While Denver has a lot of great restaurants, this place is seriously outstanding. In terms of seating, service, and menu, you can't go wrong. About my/our experience - our server was excellent; extremely knowledgeable and knew how much attention to give us. The food was absolutely amazing and at a very reasonable price. We started with the cheese and meat tray; absolutely amazing. We knew we were in for a memorable dinner when this came and was quickly devoured. We ordered the lamb shank, duck and venison with a great delicious variety of sauces. All the meats would be great on their own so the sauces just kick it up a notch. We were treated very well. As we probably appeared to be having a great time thanks to some great beers, the manager stopped by to thank us for coming with a small complimentary whiskey, which, again, was way too good- I'm not a big liquor fan, but it complemented the dish so well. And lastly, I forgot my itemized receipt and emailed them about it- by the next morning I had it attached to the email response- talk about service! Go to Vesta folks, you won't be disappointed :)

We came for our anniversary and every member of the staff made it a memorable night. We relied heavily on our server and he did not dissappoint. He picked an excellent wine, paired the perfect cheese for our meat plate, and helped us with our entree. Cocktails at the bar were amazing. We can't thank you enough for making our night special. We will be back and spread the word!

I have been to Vesta twice now and it is probably my new favorite restaurant. The food is simple but at the same time amazing. The sauces make the food and I have never had anything like it. I would eat there every day if I could. The visits last about 2-3 hours. We order a few small plates, meat platter and then an entree. You are never rushed and are treated like royalty there. The last time I went it was rather packed ad our entree took awhile. They gave us complimentary salads and dessert because they felt bad. We didn't mind since we were full from our other meals. They are focused on delivery great hospitality and that is exactly what they do. To make it even better, they food is unbeatable! The decor is "modern" and different but it is not a turn off. I absolutely love this place. A+++++ :)

We have enjoyed Vesta for about 10 years now. The food is always great, and the service is always great as well. They always make you feel nice and right at home there. They explain the many dipping sauces, and it makes the entire experience even better. Parking is always a challenge downtown, but that doesn't stop us from arriving early and parking on the street.

The food is really good but I don't really "get" the dipping sauce craze. I go to a restaurant because I can't cook as well as a top-notch chef. So why bring me something unseasoned just to have me dump sauce on it? It seems to me that it would be better to cook something in a sauce and understand the meal at the start. But to each their own, I suppose. With that said, the meats were all cooked well and the sides were very, very good. The round table we sat at was interesting and cozy, and they brought us little flashlights to use with the menus because it's very dark in the restaurant. I didn't know what I was eating until the flash from a camera lit up the table. The desserts were heavenly, so save some room!

I have been here twice. Both times, the food was amazing. The people in the kitchen know how to grill meat! The service has also been very good both times. They are expensive so be prepared...more of a special occasion place but worth every penny. I would highly recommend.
