The Blue Moon over Hilliard Ohio from my backyard. Taken with a Samsung cell phone camera.  The Cross is beautiful. I never in all my life can remember a moon as bright as this was. You could see clouds all over the sky as if early light.

DEADLINE EXTENDED! THERE’S STILL TIME TO APPLY!

The Office of Postdoctoral Research has decided to extend our application deadline through August 14th. Please help us communicate this to senior graduate students at your institution! We thank you in advance for your help!

The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Office of Postdoctoral Research is pleased to announce the 2015 Autumn Postdoctoral Recruitment Event! This event will be held September 30 – October 2, in collaboration with the Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

This event will provide an excellent opportunity for outstanding PhD students from leading graduate programs to meet our research faculty, interview for open postdoctoral positions, and discover the exciting and innovative research taking place at The Ohio State University and the Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Selected candidates will be invited to visit the Ohio State campus, network with current OSU and NCH postdocs, present their research to faculty in a podium presentation, interview with prospective mentors, and learn more about postdoctoral opportunities at Ohio State and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Candidates selected to attend this event may be considered for a variety of opportunities at Ohio State, including fellowships, training grants, and other internal training programs. Full funding will be provided for travel expenses.

Application for this event is open to senior graduate students who have completed or expect to complete their PhD between January 2015 and June 2016. Preference will be given to US Citizens and permanent residents who are training grant-eligible. Exceptional international applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
