I've been trying for the last month to buy replacement tires for my TGB scooter and I've come up empty handed at every turn. The main problem is that I have 14" rims with an 80/80 front and a 120/80 back, not to mention the manufacturer discontinued the line in 09'. No one, and I mean no one has 80/80 tires. Okay, no problem. I just simply need to get a bigger tire, maybe some 90/90's but every shop or online merchant I called and dealt with would not give me any type of tire suggestion, assistance, or even education and instead they all kept referring me back to the manufacturer. This had become an exercise in frustration. I called CCC today, spoke with Rick and explained my situation. He immediately took responsibility of the situation and not only helped me secure replacement tires but managed to find a set so the tread pattern would be consistent. I lacked the confidence to buy anything but stock sizes on my own and no other merchant had the confidence to educate me on what bigger tires I could reasonable use as a substitute. This is a great shop for all types of motorcycle enthusiasts and I look forward to doing business with them again.

So my original intent was to write a glowing review of Schiano's pizza as they are the most authentic NY pizzeria in the Raleigh area and I've eaten at NY Pizza and every place in between. None of them compare to this place and if you are a NJ/NY transplant looking for a taste of home, this is the pizza place for you. However, I am a little disappointed with an old NY business pizza tactic that I recently found Schianos emulating. For the last couple of weeks I've been on a pizza craze. So at the end of last week I ordered a large pie with extra cheese and pepperonis. I shared it with my roommate and we both loved it. Tonight, she (as was I) was in the mood for pizza again so we ordered another large pie with just extra cheese. And this is where we felt the burn. I lived in NY for a long time and the running gag was you never ordered extra cheese on a pie (when ordering delivery) because while they would certainly charge you for the up-sell they wouldn't ever add the extra cheese. This was something me, my family and friends all experienced in varying areas of NY (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx). It was something you just didn't do. And now its something we will hesitate doing with Schianos. You see, we still had a slice from our last pie left over and comparing the two you can easily see that the first pie did not have extra cheese though we were charged for it. I was very disappointed to discover this cause it really makes it awkward to continue to do business with this place, despite how much I love their pies. (Additionally, me and my roommate felt they had skimped on the pepperoni only averaging about a slice of pepperoni per pizza slice). Anyway, I've also had their Cheese Steak and Calzone. The Cheese Steak I've had on a few occasions and its only gotten worse and is probably the worst in the Raleigh area. Needless to say I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. It's dried out aged meat (not in a good way) poorly sliced and seasoned slapped on a hoagie roll, tough to chew with very little to offer in flavor or experience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from it. However, while I don't get Calzones very often, if ever, I was very happy with mine. My one point of contention with the Calzone is that the basic order comes with ham but with the amount of ham they actually put in the Calzone its a wonder they don't just serve it plain. The pricing is about so-so with a medium 14" plain costing $11 and a large 16" running $12. In the end, this is a great place and I look forward to ordering pizza from them in the future (minus the extra cheese). I know this review was long but I hope you found it helpful.

I can't understand why its so hard to find delivery options in this area. Rated solely on the lack of a delivery option as I have not eaten here.

When I first walked in I really thought I was in for a treat. We were promptly greeted with warm smiles and welcomes as we approached the counter but the proverbial buck stopped there. The majority of Pizza joints have specialty pizzas that sit out all day, this place was no exception. Only the pizza looked terrible by 3pm and the inflated prices were not encouraging. Our order consisted of a cheese steak, hot wings (7), and a chili dog. One would think these items would be hard to muck up. Not the case here. My cheese steak was atrocious and I am hard pressed to find why they even bother to put it on the menu. Oh wait, thats right, its because suckers like me come along and order it. Any one remember the "Wheres the beef?" commercials, this place should adopt it as their slogan. I forget how big their 1/2 subs are but there was only enough meat to cover less than a quarter of the bread, so I basically paid for a cheese sandwich. I am sitting there eating my cheese sandwich when one of their own comes out from the back kitchen to eat his lunch. I felt like a fat kid at diet camp looking at everyone else's plate wishing it were mine. This guys sandwich was over flowing with meat. It was the kind of sandwich that looked heavy to pick up. The kind where the meat is just pulling the bread apart and its all you can do to keep it together. The kind of sandwich that is a battle to get in your mouth. It was the kind of sandwich I wish I was served. You would think with a less than stellar delivery with the cheese steak we would have something to look forward to in their wings. After all, everyone orders wings and it is typically the corner stone for most places, right next to the pizza itself. Again, not the case here. I'll spare you the long diatribe and just say the chicken was liek the cheese steak. Watered down, tasteless and left you wanting something more. We haven't tried their pizza yet and I can't say that we will, but when it comes to everything else I'd advise you to look elsewhere.

Has a corporate only delivery policy. Hmmm, is the thought behind this that a corporate order will generate more money than say a residential order? If so, why not ask for a minimum like everyone else? You have the fortitude to take a corporate only delivery policy. Why not just say "Hey, we only deliver for a minimum of $40." By the way, I have eaten here. Meehh!

Called in just before 3pm and it took them about 10 minutes to determine whether or not they would deliver to my residence that is about 1.9 miles away. Whats disappointing here is that they refused to take my lunch order since it is now after 3pm. When I mentioned how long it took for them just to determine if my order was deliverable I got a chuckle. I am one who does not like to argue with people who handle my food so I didn't really push the issue. Ever frugal I am forced to frown at the additionally 5 dollars this has tacked onto my bill. I am also not impressed with the 35-40 minute ETA for my delivery, hope its worth it. More later. Its later and after 50 minutes, this place is officially in a DO NOT ORDER category for me. With the prices being as high as they are, with the long wait times and the "high end" to-go containers you would think the food would have more substance and most importantly have a higher caliber of quality or at least a freshness to it. I bring up freshness because my pork fried rice had turned. Not the rice but the pork itself. After getting a mouthful of bad pork it doesn't really leave you wanting anything else. The order consisted of 2 combinations: One shrimp and broccoli with white rice and one beef and broccoli with pork fried rice. Again, after taking a biteful of bad pork I wasn't really in the mood to try anything else. My wife took a bite from both the egg roll and vegetable roll (there was no label to distinguish the 2) and had to stop there. All she can say is that it was off and didn't taste well. Not that it was off or bad like the pork, just not good. She also didn't care for the shrimp and broccoli. What pushes this place further onto my DNO list is that when I called to complain about the spoiled pork they refused to believe me citing they just served a large order to the Girl Scouts and their own cooks were eating it at that moment. On top of which I now have to wait a week for them to mail me a canceled receipt for my voided order. Which sounds way to sketchy to me so off I go...

Our order consisted of chicken wings, pork fried rice, shrimp and broccoli, white rice, an egg roll and a shrimp roll. I think this order covered the basics or staples of a neighborhood chinese spot and I was sadly disappointed in almost all of our food selections. The pork fried rice tasted like it was either over cooked, or had been reheated. Either way, its not a great way to make a first impression. The chicken was average at best, while the egg rolls were very bland. The only item that seemed to shine was the shrimp and broccoli's brown sauce. However that isn't enough to keep me coming back and I would be hard pressed to order from here again. I doubt my fellow neighbors agree as the place was relatively busy when I picked up my food. I would suspect their low to moderate prices is what keeps people coming back.
