I was in the need for Mexican food and stopped here. Didn't plan on staying, ordered take and take home. They had my order ready in about 4 minutes, it was like they knew what I was going to order. Good place to go if you want fast service.

I got the chorizo con huevos and it was excellent, great price point and excellent service, if I come back to Austin I'll definitely be coming back here!

Tavo's taco is the best breakfast taco for the price.

We decided to try Sazon as something outside our old Mexican joint standbys and, overall, I think we regretted it. Chips and salsa definitely on point. We ordered the widely touted choriqueso which turned out to be just a greasy stringy pile of cheese with hardly any actual chorizo. The biggest sin of all was making the customer choose between ordering rice OR beans for their entree. Who does that? I had the al pastor tacos that weren't the greatest and my corn tortilla was really stiff. Staying away.

Ordered the choriqueso expecting queso... Instead we get this thick cheese that you cant dip chips.. That's the whole point! Also took forever just to get our order in. My boyfriend hated his food (I tried it and had to spit it out) and they did take it off the check after asking him all these questions as to why he didn't like it. Service was okay. Expected more based on the other reviews.

Definitely a hidden gem in Austin, Sazon is home to some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican food. The staff is friendly and very attentive, and the prices are very competitive for the amount of food you'll be getting. Though not as popular as other more traditional Tex-Mex places, Sazon is definitely a more authentic Mexican experience. Be sure to try their margaritas!

Really good central mexican dishes. Great little patio and so far it's not a fad so you can get in without waiting. Awesome location too.
