We have been looking for a sushi place in Pensacola and stumbled across the Fuji by accident. The food here is terrific, the best Japanese we have found locally, and the restaurant has private areas if you like. Everyone was very nice. It can take a little time to be served because this is a place which actually cooks food to order. I like the various shrimp rolls and they have exceptional fried rice. The website is outdated and does not reflect well on the restaurant.

I ate here in January 2012. The service was amazing! If you are a fan of raw fish, try the sashimi deluxe! The chefs even let me pick the assortment of fish! I enjoyed every bite and the scenery, cleanliness, and overall experience was amazing. I am going back tonight for my anniversary with my sweetie! Sushi and Sake, here I come!

Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. We waited for 1hr and 3 min before the waitress took our order. Waited another 47 min before our sushi was brought out. The sushi had apparently been sitting out for some time because the tempura was stone cold and the eel sauce was hardened. They also failed to give us 2 of our rolls which conveniently took another 20 min. In the end we were there for 3 hr and 15 min for horrible service and disgusting food. After talking with the manager several times, there was no discount nor were there any apologies. I will tell everyone I can to avoid this restaurant.

The rolls are always great...however it smells horribly fishy in here. I have never ate at a seafood or sushi place that smelled so fishy unless the meats were left out (and that's not good!). The service is hit or miss as well. Sometimes the server is great, sometimes they're nowhere to be found. The sweet tea taste different every time we go. The boyfriend is obsessed with this place (me not so much - the smell is nauseating when walking in) and we eat here a couple times a month when he gets to pick. When I get to pick, I choose other sushi places in the area that don't smell like a fish market.

The wife and I stopped by to have dinner and all you can eat sushi. We normally eat sushi rolls, so we went to order and what we ordered under the roll section, they wouldn't do because the manager said the ones we were ordering had more raw fish then what the 20 dollar buffet would cover. So we left and now at kappa Japanese steakhouse ordering the same rolls we wanted and sashimi for 20 dollars. The reason for two stars was for the cleanliness and waitstaff.

Great food! The Sushi is always fresh, and the kids love the Hibachi! Priced moderately for the food and decor! Friendly staff, too.
