This place made for an awesome date night on our vacation to Bend. Every dish we ordered had both an exceptional presentation and flavor. The service was great and the suggestion of the shrimp and grit entree was awesome. This is on my top lists of restaurant for sure

Zydeco is a nice little restaurant and bar in downtown Bend with great food, a great wine selection and plenty of beer on tap. Although I would recommend a reservation, it is easy enough to walk in most nights. The food here is very well prepared and they have a nice selection of seasonal options. Both the red meat and fish options are very good. They have an extensive wine list, good beers on tap and a full bar. Casual restaurant but nice enough for a date night. Reasonable pricing.

In Bend, Oregon for a night on business and tried Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails after getting a recommendation from CENTURY 21 Lifestyles Realty, a local business down the street. The place was busy so I sat at the bar. The BBQ shrimp was recommended so I ordered it. While I waited, I enjoyed a large glass bottle of cold water placed before me so I could refill my own water glass. I appreciated that. Then was served some warm crusty bread, and a plate of seasoned olive oil, which was superb. The shrimp came and it was very good. The shrimp were cooked nicely, not overcooked. They were large and seasoned well. The sauce... wow. So good. I used the remainder of the bread to soak up what was left. I will definitely go again and try something else next time. I would recommend this place. The atmosphere was kind and vibrant. If I had to suggest one improvement, (and I had to think for a mement) it would be the speed of service. This would not prevent me from going again and should not prevent you either as it will likely vary due to how busy they are. What did you think?

Had reservations for 7:15 last Saturday night. Didnt get seated until almost 8:30. Drinks were expensive and watered down. I had a rack of lamb that the chops were the size of a quarter with absolutely zero b taste or crust. My wife had crab cakes that tasted like they came from a can. Very disappointed. Service was amazing. Granted they comped our meal and gave u s a $50.00 gift card, but I will never go back. Too many good restaurant s in central. Oregon to settle for sub par food.

We have been coming to your restaurant for 7 yrs. But last night I had the worst entrée I have ever had at your restaurant. At the beginning I told the waiter for the food to have very low salt. I had ordered the steelhead. When it came I couldn't even take another bite, as all I could taste was the Sea Salt on the Quinoa, vegetables, and then the steelhead was loaded with capers. At least I could take them off. My husband tasted the food, and he agreed all one could taste was the Sea Salt. The steelhead was dry. The fish had no imagination for a entrée. I told the waiter about this, and he brought me some sweet potatoes. At least they weren't salty, just overdone. So what I ended up having was a piece of dry fish and some overly cooked sweet potatoes. At least the appetizers were good---artichokes and fritters. But I couldn't believe no compensation was done for the meal, because I stated at the beginning about the low salt. Huge doses of salt aren't good for you, and the overuse of it only masks the flavors of the food. Your chefs need to learn to cook with lots less salt!!

It's worth going just for the shrimp appetizer, which is truly exceptional. Both the wild boar and red fish were a little overdone, but the red fish came with a fantastic sauce that made everything delicious. Friendly service.

Amazing staff, caring ! You guys literally saved my life last Thursday night. I was there with a friend having the BEST birthday dinner in the universe "redfish" OMG ! I was eating like a european, slowly savoring every bite because it was so wonderful ! Our waiter was darling and very attentive. THEN I had an acute asthma attack and had serious trouble breathing. There were so many staff helping me up and out to the fresh air, holding my head up, holding me, talking to me, trying to keep me from passing out, while waiting for the ambulance to arrive (thanks for taking the initiative in calling them). I can't thank you enough for your care and kindness. Zydeco has always been one of my favorite places to dine. Now it's #1 well worth the money.

The best in Bend Oregon. A must stop if in town or near by like within two hours drive through. Lamb is superb.
