my age does nothing for my eyes, I can't focus past about a ruler length in front of my face and it's been that appalling forever :) I was planning on just handing over the tablet. The advantage there is I should then be able to show off both a tablet/phone site and a full desktop site.
I'm currently doing everything on a maxed out 27" mid-2011 iMac. The cpu and graphics card in the Hybrid look like they are almost as if not as good as what's currently in the iMac, it just falls flat with its only 2Gb of ram, non-expandable :) It may not matter anyway seeing as I won't be using it like my desktop.
I don't need exactly the same programs, near enough is good enough (where "near enough" means it does what I want it to do and interchanges with the desktop programs).
Just realised another major drama I would have if I got one of these instead of a "proper" laptop, wouldn't be able to play Minecraft with my sister when I went home :)+Joshua Davidson
I do that too (though it's technically a sketchbook so I don't lose scraps :), I'm entirely too reliant on undo combos for traditional art though.
