Is a microchipping going to hurt my pet?

There are more and more pets have be microchipped, such as dogs in England must be microchipped from 2016.As owners, we are more concerned with whether it will hurt our pets?

A microchip provided by Cybortra technology is a small electronic transponder, which is the size of a grain of rice,it meets ISO11784/11785 FDX-B standard. The microchip is coded with a unique number that can be read by a scanner that energises the microchip using a radio signal.

Usually the pet was microchipped with 134.2kHz 2.1mm * 12.2mm microchip,it looks a little big,and now we provide a smaller microchip with 134.2kHz size of 1.4mm * 8mm.It will be more suitable for pets with the smaller bioglass and smaller needle.

Microchipping just feels like a small pinch or mild sting – akin to a minor injection. The dog does not feel the chip at all after it has been inserted.
Once the microchip has been inserted, the dog's body tissue surrounding the microchip attaches itself, preventing movement of the chip

Dogs in England must be microchipped from 2016

Every dog owner in England will have to microchip their animal from 2016 under plans intended to cut a rise in strays.
The microchips will be coded with owners' details, and owners who do not comply could face fines of up to £500.
The change in the law will be effective from 6 April 2016. Any owner whose dog is found without a chip and can be traced by local authorities will have a short period of time to have the dog microchipped.
Currently some animal charities, such as the Dogs Trust, Blue Cross and Battersea Dogs and Cats home, offer a free microchipping service to owners.

The procedure, which costs about £20-£30 at a private veterinary clinic, involves inserting a sterile chip the size of a grain of rice between a dog's shoulder blades.

Free microchips, donated by the Dogs Trust, will be circulated to veterinary clinics, although it is currently unclear whether vets will charge for the service.

Different brands of microchip and scanner are approved for use in the UK, but all have to conform to the Europe ISO (International Standards Organisation) standard.

Animal Identification: Why It’s Important and How to Do It?

For some livestock owners, it can easily become difficult to identify specific animals.  This is especially true when breeding strong family lines, as identifying characteristics can be passed down through genetics.  The only way to overcome this is to properly identify each livestock animal on site.  Although this seems like a lot of work, it is critical to help livestock owners insure the safety of their livestock.

Weight 70g ±1g  Ф19 mm±0.3mm x 67 mm±1mm

The RFID rumen bolus tag has been developed to permanently identify ruminants with an ID bolus that lodges in the reticulum. It’s another choice besides RFID Ear tag can be implanted into animal’s rumen via oesophagus by applicator.

The bolus tag features EM or Hitag chips sealed within biocompatible ceramic. It is engineered to provide a sophisticated, tamper-proof, yet economical method of employing radio frequency for permanent, positive and safe identification. The RFID rumen bolus exemplifies superior performance, reliability and long term retention.

We recommend the bolus when positive identification is important.

Sheep&Goat Electronic Visual Ear Tag/RFID Ear tags

This ear tag is a plastic object used for identification of Sheep&goat. The ear tag uses Radio Frequency Identification RFID technology, then it is often referred to as an electronic ear tag. Electronic ear tags conform international standards ISO 11784 and ISO 11785 working at 134,2 kHz. There are flag shape ear tags those with flat wide plastic surfaces designed to present the ID code printed by laser.

CY152ES Sheep&Goat RFID Visual Ear Tag is an ear tag specially designed for the management of the animal raising and butchering. It meets the international standard of ISO11784/5 FDX-B. It is designed and produced on the imported high-level Microchips and it can be served to read and write, and also has a unique design of data security. We can add letters, numbers or 2D codes by laser printing for visual purpose. In the animal raising and butchering, it can trace the animals identification by using Cybortra CY152Rh Handheld Reader or CY152Rst Series Stick Reader together.

In order to meet requirement of markets,we designed a new product of 1.4MM*8MM subsize microchip syringe.Subsize microchip is safer in animal's body than the big one. Subsize needle is easier to inject and more suitable for samll pets and lab animal.
Small Syringed Electronic Tag is a kind of tag specially designed for samll pets, livestock, and animal. It is syringed into animal's body by certain syringes. It includes the single-use syringe and the electronic tag, six bar tags that meet the IS011784/11785 standard. It uses EO to sanitize and has a five year period of validity.
