If like me you're wondering how filmmaker and exposer Michael Moore can vote -- through tears in the video I saw -- for Hillary, along with the likes of Jon Stewart and Bill Maher...those who in the past we've counted on to tell us what's what...here's a new take.

Tis I speaking The Apache Wedding Blessing that opens the video. I am overcome. This was the most brilliant wedding at Gaie Lea in Staunton, VA. Check out the old Oak Tree swathed in roses and exotic flowers. Unbelievable, honestly, the whole affair. So happy to be a part of it.

Brad and Lauren put so much of themselves into their wedding -- especially the ceremony -- that's it's only natural they be featured in KnotsVilla. Such a beautiful couple, inside and out.

My favorite Maria Grace photograph so far of Lauren...just moments before the ceremony, May 6, 2017...with me in the room. Monique Lhuillier dress no less.

So proud, really, to have been chosen for Brad + Lauren's Team 45 wedding, which took place last week at Trump Vineyard. They thought of everything! Down to making name tags for the Rehearsal. This was very much appreciated by me! Who had to corral all these people I'd only just met. And though I would never expect this, ever, the Bride brought me a gift from Tieks for Italian ballet flats. Every single detail was just so exquisite and superbly executed.

This is a pretty frequent refrain I hear from couples. It's never been a problem that I know of, after all is said and pronounced "married." Though I might take issue with the blogger's recommendation to compromise. I think there are ways around it where both the couple and their families can achieve "win-win." At least that is what I strive for.

I love hearing my couple's love stories -- and weaving these stories into my Celebrant Address. Here are some funny vignettes about how others' proposals went down not as planned.
