Order was forgotten. Waited for 30 min. We walked in when the restaurant wasn't actually busy (few customers with their food served). We are the only customers ordering at that time. 'Unfortunately', it started to get busy right after with more people come in. We waited until we saw several customers coming after us get their order and it is exactly the same thing we ordered. Turns out they lost/misplace the ticket which never get to the kitchen. So we canceled the it and left. Two details make me believe the service is horrible and they don't care about the customer (shouldn't happen in this type of home style kitchen/restaurant): (1) We were the only order they have when we started (2) We were sitting right next the the register/kitchen, right under their noses.

It was OK - i've had better (and worse). I am from the Chicago-land area and grew up eating Korean food at home. This place is.

This is by far best korean restaurant in the twin cities area. Side dishes are amazing, their food is very authentic. I understand that certain dishes aren't quite up to par (e.g. jajangmyun) but there isn't any other 'korean' restaurant that can make those dishes around here anyways. I'm not sure what some of these reviewers are talking about. I was BORN AND RAISED in Korea, I'm pretty sure what 'authentic korean food' tastes like. I can say this is as close to authentic as you will get around this area. Otherwise just go to Chicago or fly to Incheon.

Terrible experience. I will never go there any more. I waited for my dishes about 30 minutes and finally found out that my order was totally forgotten when they were not busy at all.

Outstanding!! Family owned, fantastic food. If you have never tried Korean come here to learn why it's the best Asian food.

I had my first experience here today, and was very impressed with the side dishes, tofu soup, and beef bulgogi for sure! The $7 lunch special is a great deal. I also sampled the dol sot bi bim bop, and while the meat and veggies were definitely fresh, the sauce wasn't quite as good as I've had at other restaurants. I'd definitely go back when I get a craving for authentic Korean!

Soon tofu soup and either the beef or pork bulgogi will feed two people and leave you feeling full and satisfied. Their lunch special is good for the price and portion size. Small place, but do not feel overwhelmed, you can sit with strangers if you need a spot. We take our kids there during the lunch rush and we always find a spot to sit.

Very good food! I have eaten here a few times and the food is always good and the sides are fantastic. Side note: The place can be cold during the winter so get something hot or dress for the weather.
