At a time when concerns over fake news are at a fever pitch, PEN America, Foreign Policy and the Newseum Institute will bring together a group of experts to explore the evolving role of truth in our national discourse. The conversation, which will include policymakers, journalists, technologists, scholars and intelligence community experts, will center on three core areas where truth is under assault, and what can be done to promote respect for facts, informed democratic debate, and evidence-based policymaking in this fraught climate.
