Many people said: "you should show some code, before ask donation". So I've set up a repository on GitHub, the url is: https://github.com/TheBojda/Diaspora-in-Wordpress . It is a pre pre alpha version, only for hard core users. If you add the plugin to your +WordPress instance, and set up the RSA public keys, you can add your +Wordpress blog to +DIASPORA* as a remote user. If your blog url is myblog.com, you should use me@myblog.com, or something like this (the user part is not important). The diaspora pod will pull your data, and you will see the diaspora user on the admin page of your blog. It is everything in this state of development. Not too much, but more than nothing ...

Many people ask me, "why do you think that +WordPress is a good base of a social network?". I think many people are already using WordPress as a digital identity. They are running they blog on it, collect their photos on it, writing some words about themselves, etc. In an implicit way, a WordPress blog is something like a Facebook profile. The only thing which is missing is the connection between these nodes. I think, the protocol of +DIASPORA* is a good solution to integrate these individual nodes to an integrated, existing ecosystem. This is why I started this project. The idea of a WordPress based decentralized social network is not a new idea. Look at +Chris Messina 's DiSO project (http://code.google.com/p/diso/). I try to rethink it from the aspect of diaspora. This is why I've started this project, and this is what I believe in ...
