I hope everyone had a great weekend. Sorry the lack of videos this past week. As much as I like posting regularly It's been hard to make editing a priority recently. Hopefully this week provides a bit more time. The FFR SC1 assembly tutorial video has been filmed and is currently being edited. šŸ‘
Getting products relevant to the FFR SC1 and fulfilling orders has been a primary focus recently. I know I say it a lot but I really want to thank everyone who has been supporting Make It RC by buying the products. We will be working to get more front suspension assemblies in stock this upcoming week as we have been having trouble keeping them in stock due to demand. We appreciate everyone's patience. We also understand there is a large interest for complete kits, rolling chassis, RTR chassis, ect. All of these are in the works and we will be posting updates as more items become available. We will also be working on more documentation relevant to the FFR SC1 and relevant components.
Although not the most budget option, the completed chassis I built along with the GT350 body for the tutorial video is up for sale here: https://c24ctxnyqrtyy067-27236622.shopifypreview.com/collections/new-products/products/ffr-sc1-rolling-chassis-with-1-24-1965-shelby-gt350-body

Been a busy day but I'm finally progressing through the FFR SC1 assembly tutorial video. Should be a great asset to all the builders out there and hopefully provides some useful info. I do plan on selling the 1/24 65 Mustang + chassis I'm assembling for this vid. Would make for a sick build no doubt but I've already got plenty of projects to keep me occupied so if anyone's interested stay tuned.

Prototyping is complete on a new front suspension design compatible with the FFR SC1. It's design is similar to the MS01 design though utilizes control arms instead of a McPherson strut. It's simpler, easier to build and features a lower profile. This assembly will be making it's way to the shop soon.

Also V1 FFR SC1 chassis files where recently uploaded for all to download and build. Due to upload issues with MMF and Thingiverse (there's a ton of different files for different sizes) we have made the files public at our store and on Patreon at no cost for download and printing: https://www.patreon.com/posts/make-it-rc-ffr-21451993 We hope you all enjoy! More variations and sizes are on the way. Please note some compatible non-printable parts are in short supply at the moment but larger quantities and more non-printable products are on the way.

A FFR SC1 assembly tutorial video is in the works. We understand that some might find the variety of parts and the assembly process to be a bit confusing, especially those who are new. A video going through all the steps from start to finish should help make things more clear. šŸ‘

Good evening. It's been another productive day as far as progressing with projects and getting FFR SC1 related stuff ready. I've also completed Part 2 of the double a-arm front steering and suspension speed modeling series. Video is available now on Patreon and will be up on Youtube tomorrow: https://www.patreon.com/posts/speed-modeling-2-21404447
I'm very exited to begin building some functional prototypes of this design and seeing how they perform.

Making some progress on the double a-arm suspension and steering setup compatible with the FFR SC1. I'm beginning to test print some of the parts. Part two video showing this progress is in the works. #CAD #3dprinting

Mock-up chassis files featured in the most recent video are now available, you can download them here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3092459

Also beginning to get the non FDM printable FFR SC1 parts printed tested and stocked. Those chassis files will be uploaded later this week. Like with the release of the MA10 quantities of non printable parts may be a bit limited at first as we slowly ease in to producing larger parts batches to meet demand. Of course more updates and info to come!

Finally as has been requested for quite some time by a lot of viewers, we have just set up a page on Patreon. Although I always thought of selling physical products as the means of funding, I've had some conversations with viewers who are exclusivly interested in the video content, and therfore would like a way of contribuiting towards that directly via a platform such as Patreon. This allowing us to spend more time doing filiming and edtiting meaining more content. Perhaps to maybe even pursue Make It RC as a full time venture or acually be able to pay some of the friends I have helping behind the scenes :P

Anyways we've set up a couple tiers with some benefits such as early acess to videos/files, exclusive acess to print files, store discounts ect. as a perk of supporting us. Depending on the amount of support in the future, more frequent videos and Patreon exclusive content is definitly doable, but we don't want to start out making promises we can't keep. No presure, but for those who want to support us even more and get some extra perks, you can become a Patron here: https://www.patreon.com/makeitrc
