Room was in very bad shape. Plainly no one in management cares. Toilet seat loose. Shower leaked badly onto the bathroom floor. Door handle to the bathroom was loose enough to almost fall off. No belts on the bathrobes provided. Sleep indented mattress from prior guests, and squeaky mattress in the room above us (they were having fun from the sound of it). There was a mistake made on a breakfast order in one of the restaurants; when the corrected order was brought to our table there was no apology for the inconvenience. And naturally, upon checking out there were the increasingly standard "resort fees" which irritate me no end. No prior disclosure that the price per night did not include this fee. Last, on checking out nobody asked us how our stay was. Like I said, plainly nobody cares. Won't return to this place.

Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is easy to find and close to some very nice hikes and attractions. Onsite food and coffee are great and service is prompt. Cons: The bathroom had cracked tiles and grout, mildew + water spots on the ceiling, and a loud ceiling fan that sounded desperately in need of service or replacement. Bedside radio buzzed loudly (only an issue for people in the 20s or younger due to the pitch, most likely) for 30min around when the alarm is set (even when alarm is turned off) due to cheap construction. I know this sounds like a mediocre review but it was actually a very nice place to stay, overall. Would consider for future lodging.

I would give 5 stars but I was not pleased with the unfriendly attitude from the ladies at the front desk. The bell hop guys were excellent at providing customer service. I would definitely come back due to their courteous and polite service. The rooms were also excellent, And definitely worth the price very spacious and luxurious.

I am originally from Nebraska, and am used to small town people with beautifully friendly personalities and attitudes. This hotel/resort emulated exactly the experience i get when i am home. People were so nice, they were all in such amazing moods. I couldnt of asked for a better experience..

This place is in desperate need of some renovations. Pools are small. I'd stay at the Westin La Paloma over this place any day, especially since they're around the same cost. Nice view but that's it.

I like the room and the view however the cleanliness needs improvement. I found trash under the bed and a pair of panties. I alerted the front desk, hoping that upon my return to the room after work it would be remedied. It was not. I am emailing the office with pictures. There are nice trails and the food at the Lookout is very well prepared. I did have some issues with the clock and cable but those were remedied quickly.

Good food, nice grounds, and an excellent bargain for a staycation on summer prices.

Accommodations, ambience and guest services staff stupendous! Dining experiences were less than satisfactory. Expected food to match the great quality of other services & accommodations, it was definitely lacking! The food credit promo was not explained that it must be used each day. We were a late arrival our first night, so we did not have the opportunity to use the credit...too bad for us, but it wasn't explained. Then the credit comes off the actual charge and is not reflected on our final folio, very confusing. Overall, great facility, plan on eating elsewhere!
