Would not stay here again. The shower was clogged so much that you were standing in 6 inches of water while showering. The continental breakfast coffee was way too dark and burned so we tried using the Keurig in our room. It was broken! We called and asked them to bring a new one up, but the lady didn't believe us and tried to make it work herself. Finally, she went to get a new one and brought in an electrician to unplug the old one who were both in our room for 20 minutes. Mind you, this is 9 am and all we wanted was a decent cup of coffee, not two strangers in our room while we're trying to eat breakfast and get ready for the day. We were also told by the front desk that they don't have microwaves one day and then the next day told the opposite. I have an autoimmune disease, and have to bring my own food when traveling, so my husband had to walk to a nearby hotel to heat food up for part of our stay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. I’m very sorry to hear that your recent stay with us did not live up to the high standards we pride ourselves on. I apologize for the maintenance issues you experienced with the shower and will pass along your comments to our Engineering department to ensure this is taken care of, if it hasn’t been already. I further apologize for the issues you experienced with the in-room Keurig coffee makers and microwaves and I am especially sorry to hear about the way these issues were handled. We take great pride in delivering the highest level of customer service and I’m disappointed to hear our team did not live up to those promises. I will use your feedback to review and retrain our associates in order to meet and exceed the level of hospitality that you deserve. I’m happy you enjoyed our complimentary deluxe continental breakfast but sorry to hear that the coffee wasn’t to your liking. I’ve passed along your comments to our Food & Beverage manager as well. Really cute hotel- excellent service, great breakfast. Surprisingly quiet, comfortable beds and good water pressure. Walking distance to lots of fine dining, casual eateries and on trend food hubs- If you're a foodie- this is a hotel you will love staying at. Only a few negatives- the travel soaps and shampoos left a lot to be desired (didn't smell great- and were not luxurious) and the bathrooms could have used a more thorough cleaning. Even still- it's hard not to love this little gem.

We stayed here our last night in Chicago (were from Detroit) and fell in love with the hotel just after reading the reviews. After checking in, we went to the Manger's Happy hour, where the drinks were strong and the atmosphere was very inviting. The room was amazing. Not an awesome view, but the room made up for it. Giant King sized bed with comfy sheets, Keurig in the room, amazing vanity to apply my makeup and guess this...BREAKFAST ON EVERY FLOOR! All we had to do was get dressed and head down the hall near the elevators where we found fruits, cereal, bagels, fresh coffee, string cheese, yogurt and other goodies. This hotel was very modern, updated and classy. I would definitely book here on our next stay to Chicago. Very comfy white robes, too :)

This was my first time in Chicago, and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. Modern, but comfy, the room was perfect. The bed was unbelievably nice, amenities awesome (breakfast on every floor!) and the location outstanding. This stay was great, and my trip all the worthwhile in no small part to such a great hotel. Kudos!

We were very pleased with the Kinzie Hotel Chicago. The hotel has been recently removed and everything is new; our room decor is modern and relaxing. The hotel staff is very pleasant. The location is great with plenty of restaurants nearby and the metro 5 minutes away. We recommend this hotel as long as you don't need the extra amenities a big hotel offers (restaurant, room service or spa). We are looking forward to staying here next time we're in Chi-town.
