Apple may be shiny on the surface, but the recently revealed SSL security flaw means that something's rotten inside — or perhaps even poisoned.

With Debian going for systemd, Canonical and its Ubuntu Linux distribution continue on a path of isolation and increasing distance from the other large Linux vendors.

Hey all: we know Debian, in a narrow voting, choose SystemD. But smart people do look back and change the path they are on . I think this one is a good time to.
Gentoo people (a community perhaps smaller than Debian's) is working on another new init system. Debian can join them. Why go behind Red Hat like a donkey behind a carrot???
SystemD is a monster swallowing so many parts od the distro (even the login manager) that it won't be a distro without it and away of RH's control and will.
If it was Canonical to do this, many systemd defenders will be against and in flames  X-(

Many governments have taken to e-government services as it is often more efficient, helps save costs and provides better citizen engagement. However, government agencies should also rethink their e-governance as a transformation tool, rather than a challenge to overcome

Apple folks, it's time to reverse the SSL agony of last week and gaze upon the hole in every non-latest version of GnuTLS.

Are you using OS X Mavericks? Because now would be an appropriate time to completely freak out about not having the goto fail exploit patched.

Yet another government for sale ... shockingly, nobody is surprised, or repulsed enough to do anything about it.
