NEVER BOOK TICKETS THROUGH YATRA.COM
I have booked a return ticket (Amsterdam-Casablanca-Amsterdam for 16.03.2105) on 03.02.2015 for my client in Amsterdam
from Yatra.com thinking that it will be a hassle free trip for them but NO, I was wrong!
Somehow due to system vulnerability the surnames of the passengers got wrongly printed on the tickets. I called up Yatra International customer care
to sort this matter out. To my astonishment they refused to correct the names saying that it is the International Airlines
(Royal Air Maroc) and I should call them up on International numbers and sort out the matter with them.
Tried hard calling/ e-mailing to Royal Air Maroc and even my client visited Royal Air Maroc office twice but they also refused
to correct the names saying that the ticket was issued by Air France and they are the ones who will correct this. On contacting
Air France in Delhi they said they cannot do it as they have just issued the tickets and only Yatra people can do the changes.
So by now three of the big entities are involved in this, First Yatra.com Second Royal Air Maroc and third Air France.
After so many emails and continuous calls to the above three entities there is no solution till date. Everybody is passing the parcel.
As the tickets are non-refundable i cannot even cancel and then re-book them. So much of mental harassment.
Is this they call 'HASSLE FREE BOOKING AND HASSLE FREE TRIP'.
Mr.Salman khan (Big Indian cine Star) is the brand ambassador of Yatra.com. Sir these people are spoiling your name. Customer means nothing to them!
So i would like to share this with all the people out there who are booking tickets with such agents like Yatra.
Think 100 times before doing that and don't do it just because there is a small difference in fares on such sites.
Once you buy they do not take any liability. It is a business for them to eat up people's money giving silly excuses.
IS THIS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ETHIC?
