A local woman faced eviction from the home where she lives with her four children. Now she’s seeing what a difference 24-hours can make.

Dozens have shown an outpouring of support, including media mogul Tyler Perry, who has agreed to pay the family’s rent to the end of their lease.

“I just wanted to tell him, to thank him. My family and I, we thank you,” said Xernna Nieves: http://2wsb.tv/PopjdA

Mr. Perry is a wonderful, selflessly giving to a family already facing enough hardship - illness. There are very few human beings, who'd step up to help, in spite of their own success. I know he works hard for his money but doesn't use this as an excuse to not assist another Soul worse off. I have the greatest respect for Mr. Perry. We are a Me, Me, Me society with all its accompanying ills and violence. I cried for Joy when reading this article. You are amazing, Mr. Perry to not waste your hard earned money in drugs, etc. I don't know much about your upbringing but I'm assuming you had at least, if not both, parents who taught you values, morales& ethics, how to be a man with a Heart for others in need and not thinking that you are better because of your success. I love it! That must be why I love all your movies, from Madea to Alex Cross and other movies tending to be more romantic. Keep it up! You are truly blessed and I'll keep you in my heart & prayers. Touched by your kindness
