What if you want to display multiple blogs or posts on multiple pages of your site, but only have a single install of WordPress? Sorry, it's just not possible to do such a thing – or is it? While it's technically not possible to have multiple blogs on a single install, there's a simple work around.

There comes a time in the lifecycle of every website when a rebuild is unavoidable. The reasons vary; perhaps the original code is not very good, perhaps a complete visual overhaul is needed, or perhaps your site has been hacked. In today's post we share lessons learned from a recent WordPress website rebuild project.

One of the common criticisms of WordPress is that the codebase is a mess. There is some truth to this, but as the core code is secure and fast it shouldn't be a huge concern because backwards compatibility is more important. Third party coded plugins and themes, on the other hand, often employ a lot of spaghetti coding. In this article we show you an object oriented approach to serve as inspiration for cleaning up your code.

The removal of the link title attribute in WordPress 4.2 caused some minor consternation when it was revealed. In this Weekend WordPress Project we look into the background of the move, show how you can revert it and discuss why it was almost certainly a change for the better.

Not many aspects of web design and online marketing have the ability to divide opinion like pop-ups. However, while there isn’t much to love for pop-ups, the fact is everyone is using them and they can produce impressive results when used correctly.

In today's article, we look at how with the right plugin you should be able to walk the fine line between annoying your visitors, and increasing your goal conversion rates.

For many websites, good authors are their most important asset. Unfortunately, WordPress doesn't offer an elegant solution for displaying author profiles out-of-the-box. Most of the widgets in the WordPress Plugin Directory are fairly basic, so in this Weekend WordPress Project we show you how to create your own widget.
