Live in 90 minutes, come hang out:

Today's topic is how to slay job applications (in general, but also specifically for a Junior Developer).

What's up? I'll be live tomorrow for another Q&A. I got asked about which APIs a beginner should learn to get hired, so I'll talk about that in the beginning.

Note: Live Coding will be on Tuesday, not Monday this week. Will be back to the normal time next week though.

What's up? Just finished a video detailing the most important things I believe a beginner/junior developer should do:
#1 - Follow a project based learning approach
#2 - Create an account with an revision control system provider like Github.

Please do me a favour and share this video if it helps you out.

What's up? I'll be live in 90 minutes for another Live Coding session. I'll be working towards finishing off the "Domain Module" of a Workout Logging Application.

Pulling out framework/library independent logic and data structures (well, mostly independent, I'll still typically use a concurrency tool like Rx or Coroutines in my domain) is a fantastic way to hide your front end from your back end.

If you don't know why that's something you almost definitely want to do, stop by my Q&A next week and ask; I'd be happy to bring the thought hammer down and learn ya something.

Live in 30 for Q&A. Main topic for today is Dagger 2 based, so beginners may feel utterly overwhelmed and confused for the first part of the stream. I'll try to focus on beginner questions after that!
