My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Windjammer and it was wonderful. We arrived in the middle of the night and the service was excellent even then. They got us a beverage while we checked in and then drove us up to our villa. Upon entering the villa we were stunned, it was beautiful. Large balcony with a view of the ocean, huge kitchen, living room, really nice bathroom, and master bedroom (which also had access to the balcony). On the bed upon arrival was two robes for us and a welcome message laid out in local flowers. We had no children at this time but we could see that this was a very kid friendly environment. There was a teen club and a children's club with lots of activities. My wife and I look forward to going back some day with our two children. The service was excellent, lots of activities for couples and families complementary and also day trips that cost a little more. We did a catamaran day trip that was awesome. Also the hotel at the time of our booking offered a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival for our honeymoon, but they had changed their policy since then and the champagne was not there. We called and asked about this, it was no problem and they sent up two bottles as a apology. We did two of the sunset champagne walk and it was really nice, but the funny part was that we were the only ones that showed up so we ended up having a private walk with our guide and a full bottle of champagne to split with ourselves both times. The food at Windjammers was excellent. I think we hit all the restaurants and they were all very good. The Italian style restaurant that is located up the hill closer to the villas was very good, but the funny part was the power went out right when we sat down for dinner. The staff brought out candles, and the ovens\burners were still working because they were gas. So we had a romantic dinner by candlelight and the staff and food was great even though the electricity was out. We also got a gift from one of our friends for a couples message at the spa. It was fantastic. Very relaxing, very good message and complimentary beverages after to just relax. This review is getting long and I have not even touched on a quarter of the things we did and enjoyed, but I will say that this was a excellent honeymoon with no regrets and we will be going back with our kids someday. I highly recommend this location.

Windjammer Landing was a great time.....The people are fantastic and the weather was outstanding. I would recommend Windjammer as a #1 spot to vacation for some real R&R. The road was very high but walking down only took us 9 minutes and we caught the Shuttle up most of the time. We were never worried about the length of time as Holidays and Vacation are "No Worries Man" time. We snorkeled and took the Sunset Cruise that was so much fun. The day trip on the Catamaran to Soufriere was awesome and the snorkel time there was clear and so interesting. We saw box fish, puffer fish, Lion Fish, and a ton of others and the colors were great. I only wish the holiday was longer.............You are my Neighbor and my friend St Lucia and I will be back to Windjammer Landing sooner than later.

This place will have you hooked! I first visited the resort in 2014 and could not wait to return again in 2015. From the moment you arrive you just know that you are somewhere special. The hospitality is faultless; the ocean view rooms are spectacular; and there are endless activities. My one negative are the cats that tend to hang around the restaurants waiting for food. The staff do not say anything and assume everyone is ok about cats. I don't mind them, however I do think that the restaurant staff need to be aware that some people might actually be allergic to cats and/or consider it unhygienic. That said, you will not be disappointed if you choose this resort. It fully deserves my top rating !

My husband and I actually just returned home (Kansas) yesterday from a 10 day all-inclusive stay at this resort. We were actually there for our good friends' wedding and decided to make a full trip out of it...and I am very glad that we did. We had an amazing time and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL! I wanted to list a few of the basic "pros" and "cons" from our trip and our overall experience at the Windjammer. Hopefully you may find some of it helpful! Pros: -Very friendly and accommodating staff everywhere we went. From the front desk staff, restaurant servers, bar tenders, to the shuttle drivers...nothing but positive things to say. -Although there was some construction on one end of the resort (new construction and additions!) overall the resort was very clean, landscaping well maintained, and housekeeping was very thorough. -Us and a few of the other members of the wedding group we were with received free upgrades to our rooms. We were upgraded to a premium ocean-view room with a rooftop deck. Cons: -Only one hot tub. This may seem odd considering it is warm and humid and not everyone cares about sitting in a hot tub. Although it was nice on some of the "chillier" evenings to just have somewhere to go and relax. However, having only one available kind of gets awkward if you're not really in the mood to cozy up next to a stranger. That being said...there are many rooms that offer private hot tubs and pools. We just chose not to pay for those. -Know that you are on "island time", meaning if you are looking to hop into any of the restaurants somewhat quickly and get somewhere, it will likely not happen. They do take their time and are in no rush. Which didn't bother us most of the time since we were on vacation and not in a rush, but you may have to consider or plan for it if you have somewhere to be or are in a hurry. -Lastly, the only other comment us and our group would have liked to see was a sand volleyball court. They did have other activities, including pool volleyball, but a sand volleyball court would have been fun! Excursions we did: -The Jammer Catamaran Day Sail (Soufriere, Volcano Tour/Mud baths, and snorkeling): Loved it! Staff in the catamaran was fun and energetic and the sites were worth it! -Buggy "Drive & Fly" (drive your own buggy through the city to see various sites, and end with zip lining in the rainforest): This was probably our favorite! Our buggy tour guide (Whom I so wish I could remember his name!) was so awesome and friendly! And our two guides at the Treetop Adventure Park for ziplining (Matthew and "Popcorn") were also amazing. I only wished we had more cash on us at the time so that we could tip them more than we did! Side notes: -Maybe not a Pro or a Con necessarily but there are many cats on the property, particularly roaming in/around the restaurants, who are known to beg for food. They are very friendly, and although I was never bothered by them, my husband is very allergic and had to be very careful to keep them at bay. I would say each restaurant had their own "group" of about 2 to 4 kitty friends who hung around. Again, it did not bother me or most of the people we were with, but just fyi. -There is a lot of uphill/downhill walking everywhere on the resort, so be aware. But no worries, you can call for a shuttle at any time to come pick you up or take you back to your room. -The drive to/from the airport is long and winding! I never typically get carsick, but even I got a little woozy on that ride around the island. Everyone I was with held up okay, but if you are easily motion sick just come prepared! Overall, we loved it and were very sad to leave!

Incredible place. A little difficult to get to. Once you find the sign off the main road that gets you there. (We made the mistake of renting our own car. Bite the bullet and take the shuttles. Trust me.) This is a beautiful resort. Friendly staff. The villas are incredibly spacious and open. There is always room on the beach (we went in June, so not the busiest time). I highly recommend St. Lucia for a honeymoon or a family get away.
