We had a great time here. There are mini-buses taking guests to the villas - walking to them involves crampons :) Seriously, the hills are steep. The villas are colonial style and although they're quite old, they're well maintained. We did look at the apartments but we suspect that there would be a fair degree of noise transmission between them so we wouldn't want to stay in one of those. Restaurants are very good - there's a buffet-style place and a couple of table service restaurants serving fresh fish etc. Right at the top of the hill there's a very good Italian. Beach is excellent and there are water sports available, although we just enjoyed the relaxation. A new spa had just been completed. It's a little on the pricey side so we just looked.

My Fiancée and I came here for my sister's wedding. Needless to say everything about our stay was amazing. The wedding was flawless and the hotel staff couldn't have been anymore accommodating.

The place is in need of maintenance, it is showing its age. For example, the men's bathroom at Jammer's, the paint is falling off the walls. The pool bar - Jammer's is wet inside, everywhere you sit when it rains you get wet, the roof leaks and water blows in with the wind... The real turn off is the food. Although it is "OK" it is not fantastic and way overpriced... $120.00 plus 20% for the buffet, that is way too much for a meal which I have to get up and get myself / WAY OVERPRICED!!! The bar food is also overpriced for what you get, I have never seen such a small cheese burger... In many cases, the staff have no idea what they are doing. It took us 20 minutes to pay our bill, they did not have a visa machine, so we paid cash but could not give us change as the cashier was not there / REALLY!! We have come many times over the years and it appears Windjammer is going down hill, really down hill. People cannot afford these ridiculous high prices getting almost nothing with poor service in a place that is starting to fall apart...

I spent a couple of days at the resort. It's all-inclusive option is a must. You get access to all the watersports and it's right on the beach. They even have equipment in the beach for people to hang out on as well as hammocks in the sea which is cool. They have alot of things going on and I would definitely stay here with family or husband. The location is ideal because it's on the north part of the island where all the nightlife is located
