Hospitality students from Angliss were lucky enough to visit InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto for a site inspection. Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, Viktoria Wilhelm, then briefed the students on Customer Service issues and Employability Skills over afternoon tea at the Market Lane Bar. Thanks for having us!

Eureka! Events students from Melbourne were recently hosted on a site visit at Eureka 89 Events and Dining​. As well as magnificent views, they got to see the great events spaces on offer at the venue.

Tourism students discovered the delights of the picturesque Queen Charlotte Sound, hiked the paths of the Abel Tasman, swam with dolphins and got up close with some baby fur seals during their twelve day journey discovering the sustainable world of tourism in New Zealand.

No matter the weather, everyone loves gelato! And at Angliss, we're about to bring you some of the best. The Carpigiani Gelato University (CGU) in Italy was set-up by ice cream machine maker Carpigiani, with the aim of teaching students from around the world how to make the best gelato. And now we've partnered with the Majors Group​ to be the first to deliver CGU training in Australia! YUM :D

Innovation was on display at Angliss's annual Student Product Launch as Diploma of Food Science and Technology students showcased new food products they had designed.
This year's winner was Natalie Wynn for her vanilla ice cream with added collagen, second place went to Carolina Rodriguez for a bake at home New York style lemon cheesecake, and third prize was to Nick Bell for his Milky Bar chocolate infused with apple crumble pieces. Well done to all students who presented!
