Not surprising that 45,803 people currently have Dubie Bacino in circles, given the calibre of the photographs she posts on G+

Naturally, we here at White Scar Cave spend a lot of our time underground. This produces strange effects. One of these is heightened awareness of the sky, the sun, planets and stars. We always mark the winter solstice, which for troglodytes is the turning point of the year

White Scar Caves is hands on education. The tour guides are friendly and enthusiastic and the facts keep everyones attention. The trail is exciting and interesting even for the little ones. Lovely little tea room and gift shop. A Great place to visit whatever the weather. Although it's probably more enjoyable in the summer as you can take a picnic to the grass area and sit out and look across the Dales. Check before you go for tour times, it seems that are every half an hour and you get your tickets on entry. Make sure you wear decent shows and a coat though as it's chilly and a bit muddy down there.

One of the best UK caves to visit. I would give 5 stars if I can be left alone to take pictures. I understand the reason for a guide and even why they want every group to move smoothly trough the cave, but its a shame not to have time in place like this one. Apart from this - just fantastic! Our guide was brilliant, with great knowledge and nice sense of humor, and the caves just breath taking. I would definitively recommend this place to friends.

Thank you for your visit, and for your review. The cave tour takes about ninety minutes. For safety reasons we can leave visitors alone in the cave.

Really interesting place. Reasonable price. I think it's about a mile in total in and out. Well worth visiting.

I only dropped the last star because it's not suitable for anyone with a back problem. Some serious crouching needed if your tall. Great visit though and the guide was great. Wear wellies and a waterproof!
