Not surprising that 45,803 people currently have Dubie Bacino in circles, given the calibre of the photographs she posts on G+

Naturally, we here at White Scar Cave spend a lot of our time underground. This produces strange effects. One of these is heightened awareness of the sky, the sun, planets and stars. We always mark the winter solstice, which for troglodytes is the turning point of the year

Excellent tour of a fascinating place. Friendly tour guide. Would definitely recommend. Some low passageways and waterfalls make it more interesting and exciting but it's still perfect for all ages. Only downside was the cafe stopped serving hot food when we tried to get some at half 3 but I can't knock any stars off for this as afterall it's about the caves not the cafe :)

A trip to the White Scar Cave is a fascinating underground adventure. There's an underground waterfall and all the stalagmites and stalactites that you could wish for. You get a very friendly and informative tour guide taking a group of you around the site. The one slight negative (and the reason I have given it four stars rather than five) is that I did feel the tour was slightly rushed. I'd have liked a little more time down there. But overall, it's a good experience that I highly recommend, especially when the weather above ground isn't so good.

Thank you for your review. For the comfort of our visitors we have to restrict the duration of the tour to 90 minutes. There is a lot to see, and therefore we have to pace tour groups to ensure that an appropriate amount of the available time is given to each principal feature of the cave.

Good start with free parking, the 90 min tour passed very quickly is it worth the best part of £20 for 2.... I would say try it and see for yourself

The cave its self is fantastic, if only you could have a bit longer to see it ! We were literally running through the cave at some points it was crazy, the tour was good and there was a lot to see if only you could have more time to look ! There was nothing for little ones, my daughter is nursery age and she thought it was rubbish, we went to stump cross caverns on the way back and she loved it which sums up her experience, when you pay for kids there should be something for them to do other than being dragged around in the damp :( 4 stars from me and Im taking the liberty of saying 2 from her giving an average rating of 3 stars from us both. I won't be rushing back.

Thank you for your review. For the comfort of our visitors we have to restrict the tour time to 90 minutes. Some small children enjoy seeing the cave, but we do understand that the one mile walk underground will not appeal to all children of nursery age.

Had a lovely time. The Guide was well informed and showed his love of the caves. Cafe staff were great too. Son 8 years old really enjoyed asking questions all of which was answered, Only slight down point ( as humans we always want more) it had been raining heavily so the tour was rushed a bit and we kept bumping into other groups, but the guide did take us to an information room to answer even more questions especially from my son. I was in a group of 30 people so the guide did very well. Overall a very good day. Value for money
