Whitefriar Grill is funky New York style steakhouse in Dublin. Whitefriar Grill serves dinner from 5pm Monday to Sunday. We specialise in offering one of the best brunches in Dublin city on a Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. We serve an Early Bird / Pre-Theatre menu and our extensive A la Carte menu is available from 5pm as well as a selection of daily specials on our blackboards. The A la carte has a special steakhouse section offering some of the best Dublin steaks you can get! We can cater for group dining and the venue is perfect for romantic dining in the mid-week. At the weekends Whitefriar Grill really comes alive; it is the buzziest cocktail capital in Dublin and the perfect place start the evening. The girls love us and the guys love that too.

We offer real value for money every evening; the wine list starts at €19 and there is a great cocktail list at very reasonable prices.

Very poor service. Food was cold on last visit and the service was unfriendly and rushed. Will not be going back.

Nice gambas eggs benedict. Very hipster with a DJ. Food was good but not exceptional. It did look amazing though. --- 2nd time: Delicious bone marrow, sausages, poached eggs. Bread was toasted a bit too long before serving, or microwaved. Rhubarb-apple juice also nice. --- 3rd: Korean BBQ pork belly was very good bit with an unnecessary large amount of rice.

One of the best brunch locations in Dublin. Nice seats outside and great music while you eat.

I found this restaurant on google and decided to check it out for Sunday brunch on my last day in Dublin. I walked in and was greeted by a nice gentleman who told me that the waiter would seat me shortly. The waiter came over with a big smile and told me that the wait would be an hour, so I told him I would wait. He looked surprised and attempted to urge me to not wait by informing me that he "had no list" to take my names. I told him I'd simply wait. The couple behind me immediately then asked the same thing and he told them here would be an hour wait and then he stepped beyond me and motioned outside. She asked if they could sit outside and he sat them down. Horrible service, so I would NOT recommend dining here. There are excellent places for brunch that are not a far walk from here.

Stumbled across this place when trying to find a good meat restaurant in the city. Firstly...great they could accomodate me at short notice at 8pm on a Thursday night evening though the place was packed. Food was excellent....butternut squash soup was delightful, the duck was even better and the salted caramel dessert a great ending. All for €43 with a large glass of Malbec. I'd call that value for money!! Will be going back :-)

Delicious (and noisy) little restaurant. They are very famous for their steak but I also highly recommend the fish if you prefer sea food. Enjoy your meal :)

Brunch: Awesome fancy drinks with funny names, especially the "you've been tango'd" is absolutely great to kill a hangover. Good service as well. They serve a good amount of nice brunch dishes. The pulled pork is great, the egg dishes really good, but the burger is so big that it's impossible to eat with your hands. Not too expensive either. Dinner: The Sunday special is absolutely amazing. For €40 for 2, you get a selection of spare ribs, steak and sides. The ribs are the best in Dublin by a mile. The steak is delicious and the sides as well. Service is super friendly, quick and efficient. Make sure to make your reservation on time as this place is always full!
