The 2nd Miami Modern (MiMo) home I designed was the "Parasol" House on Sunset IV Island, Miami Beach― It uses a large, detached canopy that hovers above the house like an umbrella to reduce energy costs and keep the home shaded from the sun's heat. Its shown in this month's issue of Tropic Magazine and was performed under WHA & Associates. Seacoast Enterprises Group, Inc. is almost done building it!

A Private Modern Home being designed for waterfront in Coral Gables, Florida. The building is centered on an arcade of wooden Persianas that envelope a shaded lap pool. The Home uses transitional elements to meld a gap between Traditional and Modern architecture.
