I stayed at the Westin @ Times Square - for two nights around the end of march. View : It was a hazy couple of days with moisture in the air and small rain drops. Perfect for some great pics from the 38 floor window of my room. Location : Times square - what else needs to be said. walking distance to phantom of the opera and st.johns pizzeria. Love their garlic knots ! Walking distance to a lot of refined restaurants in the "hell's kitchen" area. just a block away from IRON bar - gastro bar and lounge if you plan to hang out for a late night drink. Service: amazing , friendly staff and maintenance crew. Easy check out: Just drop your keys off at a kiost or in a box and you are good to go and usually they do offer late checkouts. Cons: TIme to checkin: It takes a long time to check in and especially if you are on time please be prepared to wait for a hour atleast before they get your room ready.

Our stay at the Westin was enhanced by the superior service of the concierge. Maggie and Jeremy both recommended wonderful restaurants that were fabulous dining experiences! They made the reservations for us and that was essential! Also breakfast in the room was delightful when Babul delivered it! He starts your day just right with an incredible attitude! (one person can really make a difference) THANK YOU!

This is a great place too, swank but not as expensive as some of the others around it. Great choice if you are visiting N Y.

The Westin at Times Square offers a prime location not only for tourists, but also those needing to be close to Midtown West. The hotel, while not very new, is large, airy and offers over 800 rooms. The building is fairly distinctive and not hard to find, especially if you are coming from the Port Authority or the Lincoln Tunnel. I am a big fan of the Westin Heavenly Beds, and would recommend this hotel for someone looking for a mid-priced option in a very busy (but central) location.

An excellent room on the 44th floor but we seemed to have missed out on the chocolates, not that this was any great disappointment. Very helpful and friendly staff. A perfect venue for a visit to NY. No complaints what-so-ever but one very strange thing. I wanted to borrow a pair of scissors from Reception and was told that I could only have them if I used them in the reception area (for security reasons.) Yet many shops were selling knives etc. of all different sizes and there was nothing stopping me from walking off the street with any one of these on my person.
