I am now, finally, more free to speak about what happened in the course, should anyone still care.
I would ask you not to judge by what has been written after I was forbidden to speak, even though I know this is really hard. Most of it is false. No experiment was performed on the students. On the contrary, when I saw deeply disturbing ethical concerns with the Coursera set up (contracts etc), I wanted to have the least possible to do with it and pulled out the content. I still kept an opportunity for students to engage with me through the technical forums.
If you have questions, feel free to ask me here or on my blog, where I have posted some of the material for week 3 of the course, that I was never allowed to deliver:http://paulolivier.dehaye.org
Because there is other stuff, you might want to focus on the coursera category, which includes a more detailed discussion of the contracts:http://paulolivier.dehaye.org/categories/coursera.html
