+Clinton Ferrara tried something new after watching a tutorial. What will you create today if the sky is the limit?

Yesterday I watched the tutorial on textures by +Aaron Blaise . I can't draw like that but I can be inspired by that. All my photos. The eye is from an eagle, the teeth are from a spent chum salmon. The moon and clouds are two separate shots. Done in Photoshop CC 2014 and my Wacom tablet.

sometimes for warmup I do something similar, I go outside my front door look to the clouds and draw whatever I "see".

This video is misleading because intuos tablets are not as feature rich any more as the time of when this video was released. Intuos of this video is now intuos pro.

This illustration of breakfast made us hungry.  What are you working on today? (credit: +Mair Perkins Ltd. Animation & Illustration)

Just finished this fried breakfast illustration. Sadly it is much tidier and more edible than any fry up I have ever actually cooked.

Did you catch the #worldcup2014 quarterfinals? Artist Tuncay did, and put together these caricatures (and a tutorial) on drawing players Messi and Robben (from Argentina and Netherlands, respectively). http://bit.ly/1ni5lPG

There aren't a lot of comic creators who can say that they've won an Eisner Award while simultaneously touring the world with their rock bands, but then again, +Gerard Way 's not most comic pros. A published artist before graduating from college, Way went on to co-create the Eisner-winning 'The Umbrella Academy,' plus 'The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys' during his time in My Chemical Romance. Now, with a solo album on the horizon, the writer and artist has signed on for a flurry of new comics projects including work at Marvel, Vertigo and other prominent publishers. Join us next Wednesday July 16th at 11am PT for a Live G+ Hangout with this creative force of nature in conversation with Wacom’s Techman Joe and Caleb Goellner.

For more information on Gerard, please visit his website: http://bit.ly/1jrvTP4
This Hangout On Air is hosted by Wacom. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

Photographers, what are your go-to tools of the trade? Professional retoucher Natalia Taffarel shares hers here. Do you keep it simple as she suggests? Or do you think more is more?

Take out what would go all by itself if you had the time to wait, blemishes, scratches, bruises, blackheads and the like. Then compensate carefully for harsh lights and contrasts. Subtle touch ups, that's all. I'd never alter shapes and proportions, nor do my subjects get porcelain skin and symmetry improvements. Just my taste, I find too much too unnatural.
And for that, Lightroom, Photoshop and my tablet are absolutely sufficient.
