Can you imagine being 29 years old having just served two years in the Army on the front lines in Iraq? Deltric Davis has lived it.
After having an epileptic seizure, he received an early honorable discharge but after leaving the military, he lost his direction. He briefly attended college and had a temporary job but he eventually became homeless, jobless and was living on the streets.
Deltric sought help at Volunteers of America Greater Baton Rouge's Garfield House, a transitional housing program for homeless veterans, http://www.voa.org/Young-Veteran
. And with the generous support of +The Home Depot Foundation
, Garfield House, and many other veteran properties we own, has been remodeled and enhanced - always with the goal of "doing more for #veterans
