Baller building, very nice. Valet parking is expensive but that's to be expected of a place of this caliber. Club on the top floor is free to get in if you're staying there, but is 15 dollars for the weakest drinks I've ever had. Do not recommend the club but the Viceroy itself is nice.

From the moment we stepped out of our car, we were treated like royalty. Steve, the valet was welcoming and very funny! Check in was a breeze. Their hour long wine reception is nice and they served nice wine and hot tatties. Rooms were well equipped, well insulated and very clean. This is a dog friendly hotel but you would never know that dogs had been there. The only challenge was getting a taxi at 7 pm at night which made us late for our dinner reservation.

If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through the website HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say really!!!! So... every night, we heard someone walking around upstairs.. Interestingly, our room was on the top floor. Out of curiosity, we asked one of the employees what was above us. We then learned that the hotel is actually haunted. How cool is that? I loved the hotel. From the decor, to the ambiance, the great staff and the wine hour. It was absolutely great. The rooms were clean and beautiful.

A friend of mine lived here and so I had the pleasure of checking this swanky place out and I must say, Philippe Stark is quite the inventive and creative designer and architect (The Viceroy being one of his projects). The spa at the Viceroy Miami balances elements of opulence with expanses of emptiness to create a space that is memorable and luxurious, yet I'd say shy of being dubbed "too over the top". The incredibly high ceilings, floor to ceilings windows and bookshelves, chalk blue water and slightly excessive bright yellow chandelier are the spacial elements that make this room the iconic piece that it is. Another favorite of mine at the Viceroy was the outdoor pool area and the delicious frozen grapes that are brought out to you free of charge. Gotta love that!

The staff was very accommodating and attentive to what I may need. I was glad to hear this property is going to be a W Hotel this week. What a great addition to the Starwood family

The staff was outstanding. It was a little weird getting to the restaurant from the ground floor. The lady selling espresso was amazing.

Nice hotel, however is not worth the price. Pool is fabulous. Rooms are ok. Toiletries not good :( towels bad quality. For the price and qualifications of the hotel is was expecting a lot more. Will likely to think twice about commingled back

The hotel was nice in general, nice beds, nice decor, pool and spa were amazing, incredible views. I wish I could give this a good review, but DO NOT GO HERE. THEY HAVE UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. Very inexperienced customer service, they do not care about the customer. Every time someone would flush the toilet in a room above me, the toilet in my room would flush as well and it would run for about 5 minutes, very loud and kept me up all night. I paid for the room with two debit cards, both were approved and authorized upon check in and the funds were taken from my account, THEY DID NOT TELL ME upon reservation that there would be a $100 dollar hold, and if I were to cancel upon check in they would have charged me for the night anyway. Then when I was checking out they were supposed to refund the $100 dollars, but instead they said I had to pay another $130 dollars because I used debit cards and that they were only able to hold the money, so that the money charged from the second card would be refunded later. We did not charge anything to the room and the invoice had no extra charges. MAKES NO SENSE. I PAYED $660 for a $420 ( after taxes ) room that night. We even showed them that the money was taken out of both accounts and both accounts still had money in them, and why would only one card have a hold and the other not? WHY WOULD I PAY MORE MONEY WHEN YOURE SUPPOSED TO BE REFUNDING THE HOLD, I ALREADY PAYED FOR THE ROOM. When trying to explain why this makes no sense to the receptionist she refused to assist and just used the excuse that "something must be wrong with your bank", we showed her our actual accounts with the charges and the surplus money still available and called the bank, who said there was no issue. She refused to do anything extra as far as asking a higher supervisor or calling anyone for assistance, she just would not let us leave without us paying $130 more dollars, which she could not even explain. She caused a scene and created much embarrassment and inconvenience and seemed to be very uneducated. unfortunately I must say that you would be better off at a Marriot or sheraton down the street, its not worth the inconvenience, you couldn't pay me to go back there.
