New research from #UWAllen's Security and Privacy Research Lab uncovers how mobile advertising can be used to track an individual's movements and app use. The team refers to this method of information gathering as ADINT - or "advertising intelligence" - and they found that anyone with the motivation and a modest budget could exploit the online advertising ecosystem in this way.

Congratulations to #UWAllen Ph.D. student Ham Wongsuphasawat of the Interactive Data Lab and his Google co-authors on their Best Paper Award at IEEE VAST for the TensorFlow Graph Visualizer.
