On March 18th, President Barack Obama will present 24 Army veterans with the Medal of Honor in one of the largest Medal of Honor ceremonies in history. Each of these Soldiers' bravery was previously recognized by award of the Distinguished Service Cross, the nation's second highest award; that award will be upgraded to the Medal of Honor.

President Obama, thank you for recognizing so many veterans that stood strong for our constitutional rights and responsibilities. These noble veterans keep us from being unduly influenced by hostile forces, some even though they are no longer in active enlistment. They make our country better.
