I just came here yesterday and it was actually fun. The last time I came here was about 10 years or so when I was younger and a friend of mine asked me to go with her. I remember it being fun from when I was a kid so I thought "Hey Why Not!" So it is a beautiful place. Nice scenery and I love the fountain that shoots out water. My friend brought her daughter and she had so much fun playing in it. We had some crepes and they were delicious. Overall we had a lot of fun it was nice!

Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I thought it would be really touristy but it's actually nice. There are cool toy stores, nice restaurants, a Ben & Jerry's and a movie theater. You can spend many hours there and not get bored. Without mentioning the park.

Another tourist shoppertainment area. While it must be said it's 500 times cleaner than Hollywood Blvd, it is just an extension of a theme park. Notable items being that they occasionally do free concerts here (well, free except for the superinflated parking costs) as well as having a specialty sock store and a Hard Rock Cafe (also a comic book/ novelty store that has such a high markup you're best not tempting yourself). It's not awful to go here, but not somewhere I aim to get to, and each time I do it seems to have gotten a little more blase.

The environment in this place is incredible. From when you walk in, you get such a good vibe of the place, they have good music playing and friendly faces greeting you from the hostess, waiters and bartenders. The food was really good and well of course for being such a well know cafe you can imagine the prices were a little bit over the top. If your enjoying of yourself in City Walk, I definitely recommend stopping by the Hard Rock Cafe for a good dinner and drink.

This is the first time that I write a review. I went to Universal CityWalk with my family the day One Direction performed. My sister absolutely loves them. We gave her this surprise because she deserved it. However, the staff at Universal CityWalk were extremely rude not only to myself and my family but as I walked by I heard and saw them being rude to parents and young girls who only wanted to see their idols. It was my very first time at Universal CityWalk and to be completely honest, the first impression that I got was not the best. 95% of the staff that I encountered looked like they hated their job. I went up to one to ask a question, not only did he not look at me when I spoke to him but he pointed to the opposite direction and said "You have to go that way." He did not even let me ask my question. Zero manners and zero customer service. I am not going going to CityWalk ever again.

City walk is by far the best place I like going to have a fun time. Weather is dining, entertainment, shopping, getting a drink with friends, or family time Coryell has it all! Parking has several options, you can park on the west end near the entrance to Universal Studios with general parking or valet as well as parking on the east end with the same options of general parking, valet or even get the preferred parking area which is front and near the shops. You can find numerous places to eat. A sit down place or fast food as well. Places like Bubba Gumps, Hard Rock Cafe, Camachos and many others offering all different styles options. The AMC theatres has IMAX movies, you can find a food court on the center area second level and there is even outdoor performers on the stage located at the 5 towers stage. Citywide is a great place for tourist as well as locals who as myself have been coming here for years.
