R U 1 of those peeps that really really gets upset by bad grammar? Or could you care less?
Weird Al Yankovic has decided to take up the battle against the poor punctuation, spelling and just general illiteracy found on the internet with his latest and, in our opinion, quite brilliant release, "Word Crimes". What's your most hated literary crime?

For the record, it hurt to write those first two sentences.

The prestigious annual Earle Page Political Lecture has been host to some big names in Australian politics over the years, but not many come larger than this year's speaker.

Former Australian Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Malcolm Fraser AC CH, will discuss the contentious question, ‘Should Australia be involved in a war that may be sparked by China and the United States?’

UNE will be presenting some great seminars next week. On Monday, UNE Business School presents Dr Karl Rich from the Czech Republic's "New directions and approaches for value chain analysis";
The School of Education's Adjunct Professor Robert Walker address the role fo teacher-educators in addressing the 'deception' of teenagers by popular culture;
The Arts Research Series Seminar titled "39,000 Doors" on the 17th will present extracts from Lewis Fitz-gerald's documentary film looking at the contemporary foster care experience.

Federal Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce was on campus today for the launch two new Research projects: the Cotton Hub, and Wild Dog Action Plan. Both initiatives will play important roles in UNE's ongoing commitment to agriculture research.
