Tomb Entrance is an exterior map of a sandy cliff pass in a mountainous area. The center of the map has a series of weathered and some toppled pillars just before a partially ruined stairway leading to a tomb entrance cave inside the northern mountains.

Tomb Entrance is intended for use in modern, pulp, horror or fantasy games. This adventure location makes for a good spot for traps, research and investigation of hieroglyphics on the pillars, or a good old fight in a mountain pass. Or why not all three?

Characters in RPGs often have abilities are not tied to their class, race or skill, although they may be related/useful to it. These are called Feats.

They may be combat related, a way to tweak spells or even to do with the crafting of an item. Some will be useful to almost everyone, others only in very certain circumstances.

This edition of “Fantastic Feats” – a series of feats based around a certain theme or subject is about the mysterious and deadly Ninja.

Whether or not you think system matters, the mechanics of a game are an integral part of what can make it a good or bad experience. So, what are good mechanics? Gaz and Baz talk about some of their favourite mechanics, and the importance of Halfling thieves in roleplaying games.

World War Cthulhu: Cold War is a new Call of Cthulhu setting full of thrilling espionage, tense horror and sudden betrayal set at the height of the Cold War in the 1970s. The tangled webs of the spymasters tear and rejoin, double and triple agents make their moves and counter-moves, and it’s hard to be sure which side you’re really working for. Nuclear destruction hangs over everyone, and a few people at the heart of western intelligence continue their personal battle against the insidious influence of a much older enemy…

Gaz and Baz have spent decades talking about games, ever since University, which was far too long ago for their liking.

All RPG problems were solved in whiskey-fuelled late night sessions, with the disappointing realisation they couldn’t remember any of it the following day being the only fly in the ointment.

Now older, wiser and more experienced, the plucky duo have decided to commit their enthralling discussion to this new fangled podcast technology, in the vain hopes of capturing something useful or interesting.

It should be conversation starter if nothing else. Getting them to start talking was never the problem. Making them stop however…
