SIP is a summer program for high-school students to carry out real STEM research projects under the mentorship of UCSC graduate students, postdocs, and faculty.

During this 90-minute introduction, we will hear from the program director, a couple of returning high-school students, and project mentors across a dozen research areas including astrophysics, evolutionary biology, electrical engineering and computer science. This HOA is part of SIP's effort to build a worldwide network of high-school scholars and university researchers through web engagement as well as live participation.

Visit ucsc-sip.org for background and event agenda.
