No person or company is perfect mistakes happen in processing and or shipping. I have come to realize that the mistake is NOT REALLY WHAT COUNTS What counts is WHAT THE COMPANY DOES once notified of the problem. Our shipment of an Olive Tree arrived broken. However after contacting TY TY we received a brand new shipment at no cost to us. Too many people are quick to file complaints and not enough take the time to give compliments. We EXPECT things to work correctly and we often take that for Granted. So here and now I applaud TY TY for correcting the error and replacing the broken tree. By the way the other two trees in the first package arrived safe and sound,

Copyright Infringement!!!! Cant believe this. Although I appreciate the compliment, I don't understand why my content got used without my permission. This company took my Goji berry Terrace shots of my home and placed it in an ad to promote their company. If they think I'm a little guy, than they better think again. Time to get my attorney involved. Look at this video of theirs at .10 sec - 18sec https://youtu.be/feikiN5aqqc my original video. I'm pissed off. They could have contacted me and chose not too. starts at .42 sec https://youtu.be/r2EJo5y8ZiM

Got in the spring fever mode and wanted to landscape the entrance to our home from the road. I wanted some pampas grass as a backdrop. I went to lowe's, home depot and they had nothing but crap. A friend suggested Ty Ty. I had been by their place a few times and the website information was loaded with all kinds of help with planting. I said "why not" Ty Ty, it's also in my state. I tried some plants before from a nursery up north and that was a total mistake and a waste of money. To make a long story short, I am very pleased with the delivery and quality of my plants. The price was good too and I got my plants in the ground today. My hat is off to Ty Ty for a great experience.

I ordered two Sassafras Trees - 4' to 5' - $60/each. They arrived looking bad and now look like two small sticks in the yard. About the same time I order five other trees from two separate nursery (Cold Stream Farm and Nature Hills) - they arrived with good root system and leaves - looked great! They are growing and doing fine. The folks at Ty Ty said he could take 6 months before anything would happen because of the shipping and transplanting process. By that time it will be winter and everything will be dormant. I would not buy anything from these folks!

I am a mail order customer, so perhaps the experience is better with walk-in customers. After receiving 6 trees (4 identical) and planting all similarly, one of the four never budded out. 5 are doing well and fully leafed out for several weeks. First told to wait 90 days. The replacement policy for a DOA plant makes it prohibitively expensive to replace. (Ship the dead plant back, (to determine the cause of death?), then pay for the new plant to be shipped to you....on a $8.95 plant). I have used Finch Nursery in the past with wonderful results. They will ship out new bushes without making the customer feel like a con artist. Wish I had read the reviews first.

Updated: The manager contacted me, I assume after seeing this review. He was apologetic and offered to replace or refund my order in full. I ordered an 8 foot tree but what they sent was only 5 foot. They refused to send the correct size. Then it didn't survive the winter. Tried getting a warranty replacement but they make the warranty process so difficult it isn't worth making the claim.

Their plant one year warranty is a scam. When your plants died. First you apply for replacement (paper work + pictures). If they approve that, you have to dug up the dead ones send them back on your own expenses plus 25% restocking fee. People should pray for the owner to be punished by God.

I had given up ordering plants online. Prices seem fair until half of what you order dies. I ordered a dozen merlot grape vines from The Nursery at TY TY. All but one of them has leaves on them less than a month after planting. The one of the twelve that does not have leaves on it yet, I have not given up on either. I like the way the nursery packed the vines in gel to assure moisture is kept. I will definitely continue ordering from them!
