Rice Field in Early Morning
Around 2:30am this morning I somehow managed to knock my iPhone off the bed stand and onto the hard wood floor. The noise woke me up, and I never could get back to sleep.
So I got up, made a pot of coffee, and started surfing the web.
Around 5am, I looked out the window and saw the sun was just coming up. So I grabbed my camera and rode my bicycle to a rice field a few minutes away from our house. I was hoping to get some nice photos of the morning dew shining in the sunlight.
I also took a stab at doing a video that shows the post processing technique I used for this image: https://vimeo.com/48113885
This is my first attempt at creating a screencast showing post processing. I didn’t think to change to a smaller screen resolution, and as a result the text is too small to read. I’m not happy with this result, but I’m hoping that the audio is at least somewhat informative, and also sharing this publicly will encourage me to do a better job with the screencast next time.
