I wouldn't pay a penny that might possibly end up in the pocket of a domestic abuser and all-around general prick like Mayweather.

Amazingly friendly check-in staff. I paid practically nothing but asked for a room with a view. She gave me a huge 17th floor room with fantastic view of the strip! First slot machine I played paid out over $500 😊

We booked 3 nights through Priceline cost a little over $300. Included in that was the $23 per person tax from the city. We got a bungalow, nothing special never seen the free internet, free cookies. Breakfast buffet was terrible Very hard to self park your car, parking lot is a long distance away. Other than that easily accessible to walk up and down the strip . to MGM, Excalibur, New York New York.

Was not greater well, they didnt have any king rooms ready at 9pm as a hhonors member figured might be offered an upgraded room. Instead was downgraded. Not a big complainer so just would say an over all not very pleasant experience. Will not recommended or be returning.

Housekeeping staff ignores the Do Not Disturb sign when it's hung on the outside of the door. I was rudely awakened twice from this. The "complimentary wifi" is only good for 1 megabyte per day, after which you are charged ludicrous fees. Simply connecting with your smart phone will all but guarantee going over the limit within minutes. Bartenders are very stingy and would only comp ONE drink no matter how much I was gambling on the video poker. Bartenders at Hooters and Excalibur are far more generous and much more polite. Don't bother parking near the Club Tower. You will still have to walk all the way to the front entrance and then all the way back again through the hotel to take the elevator to your room. Why can't we simply enter from outside using our room key? You must wake up early if you want a hot shower in the morning. I was stuck showering with cold water twice because the hot water was depleted completely.

Definitely not a 4-star hotel. booked a 4-star hotel for my last stay in Vegas thru Priceline on Saturday night. The New Tropicana is NOT a 4-star hotel. It is more like a party hotel for young people... now granted, im about 35 and i don't consider myself old... but all the weed-smoking, loud-music playing teenagers/young adults in the hotel definitely did not help to make this a 3-Star hotel. The fact that you can still smell the paint in the hotel room and the wooden boards on the beds makes it a 2 star or 2.5 star at most.. I stayed at a 4-star hotel for 2 nights....DOES NOT COMPARE in any way. Priceline seems to be declining in service.

The security personnel needs to be taught that it's not OK to treat good customers like criminals. My husband and I recently attended a Raiding the Rock Vault show (which we seen at least 25 times over the last few years both at the LVH and the Tropicana) and never have we been treated with such disrespect and degrading behavior. We always stop to chat with the band because we adore them and think they're terrific individuals and entertainers. Sometimes we even bring them flowers to show our appreciation for their talent. The other night we went to the show, brought flowers and the band said to my husband, come here to Hi Five and give a hugs - he was on the other side of the roped area. My husband did that and YOUR security guard got in his face and went OFF on my husband. It was disrespectful, degrading, embarrassing and out of order since the band member were the ones to call him over. Your security guard (I believe his name was Mark) was nothing short of a bully...the situation was ugly. When David stood up for his rights and requested an apology, Mark said "I don't apologize to anyone". Really, well- suffice it to say, we will NEVER patronize the Tropicana again! RTRV or not - NEVER again! You need to appreciate the locals Tropicana...we are the one who are able to play, eat and drink over and over and over again! Get in Right!!

Hello Lisa. Thank you for taking the time to notify us of this. We are very disappointed to hear of this incidence at our property. We appreciate your loyalty to our casino and entertainment. We would like the opportunity to make this up to you. Please email social@troplv.com with your contact information. We would never want something like this to keep you from seeing a show you and your husband love so much.

*****first off don't use their lotion if you're flying back home. the lotion contains glycerin in it and I ended up in a pat down and search at the McCarran airport. ****** secondly if you love second hand smoke then this place is the hotel to book. We had a non smoking room, but the sheets still smelled like cigarettes. front desk was great and it was pretty close to a lot of the main attractions. when we got back to the hotel housekeeping was in our room and didn't let us in, because she thought we were lying about the room bring ours. * make sure you put the do not disturb sign on the door when you leave in the morning. other than that our stay was okay.
