Excellent Autumn break at this park, caravan and amenities ,cleanliness, staff were all first class - would recommend this holiday park, we were 4 Adults and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, plenty of places to visit within a 30 mile radius of most places.......

Visited this park on one of those Daily Mail getaways in April of 2012. And having been to other 'parks' on such deals I have to say that this was the best that we have been to. Accomodation was clean and warm, staff were polite and helpful and the grounds were clean and tidy. We loved the location too: a supermarket with petrol station was nearby, Newquay town was a short drive away, and the stunning Crantock beach was within walking distance (along a trail). We love Dorset. We now love Cornwall too and will be going back! Please note that we visited at the beginning of the season when visitor numbers were low.

Just returned from our first camping trip, a weeks holiday at Travella with a 9 year old and an 11 year old. Arrived at 12.15 and even though check-in was supposed to be after 3pm, we were able to pitch our tent as soon as we had booked in, which was great after such a long journey. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the gardens were kept beautiful. At the busiest time of the year, we expected it to be a bit noisy but it was lovely and peaceful and even all the children kept the noise to a minimum. Lovely scenery across the hills from the campsite and a short distance to Crantock beach. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and the adventure play area. Showers were free and clean. Hairdryer in the showerblock is also free of charge. I would definitely return to Travella and would recommend it to others. Newquay is a dump but luckily there are loads of places to visit around Crantock. Fun had by all. Great holiday.

Fantastic! Best campsite we've been on. Family friendly, friendly staff (especially the lady chef!), clean toilet blocks, good café, brilliant play areas, clean pool, large pitches, fantastic location!! Overall perfect! Well done Trevella.

This is the second year we've been back now. I find the Camp site quiet and friendly. There are a few downsides to it. The pitches for the tents are on uneven ground apart from a few that are on the right hand side as you enter the park. We went in May so the camp site was pretty empty however come the summer months when its busier then I would imagine the Showers and toilets would find it difficult to cope. There are a few blocks scattered around the site but the shower block on our field only had 3 very small showers in. If you are say Big Fat Barry the Builder from Birmingham then the chances of you getting in the shower are slim (Probably not the best word to use). The Showers are free which is good if you can get in them however you press the button and the shower lasts 13 seconds I know this as I timed it so you do have to continually press the button if you want to have a decent wash. The toilets and showers are cleaned on a regular basis and the cleaners seem very thorough. Although what ever Camp site you stay at you always seem to get Terry the giant record breaking turd layer that seems to find it amusing to leave the toilet un-flushed. You know who you are and believe it or not your the only one that finds it funny so please grow up and flush it away. The site itself is very good for children as theirs good play areas, a pet corner, and swimming pool. Fishing is available on 2 very pretty lakes and there's good food to be had at the cafe. Although the chef looks as if he may struggle a bit when it gets very busy as he's on his own but I maybe completely wrong. Its cheap and is well cooked. Staff at reception are friendly and helpful so all in all a good break. Ideal for Caravans although if camping you may find sleeping a little strange at that angle of slope. Oh and the bins need emptying on more of a regular basis. I give this site a 7 out of 10 for Camping and a 9 out of 10 for Caravans as you guys have your own showers and flat pitches.

, toilets not clean at all and showers rubbish, loads of grass mess everywhere and stones on pitches get everywhere too. Some staff are a bit ignorant and some rude but the Cornish seem to have a problem with outsiders even though their in the tourist industry which beggars belief ! Great for kids and entrance looks good but attention to detail lacking. Pool only warm one day in a whole week ! Overall ok but could do better and bins need emptying more and better shower blocks need a good clean. This morning the showers at 8 am are freezing which is unacceptable considering it's empty and not like the waters been used.

Used to camp here years ago then switched to a nearby caravan club site. Well today were at trevella and can honestly say we've missed it. Great park unlike the over regulated caravan club site which is full of moaning old fuddys.
