Your Timeline-Google Maps

Is everyone enjoying the new Your Timeline feature on Google Maps? I think it's pretty cool, because sometimes I forget what I've done over the weekend. Interesting also to see what time you get home and how long you stay at each place.

I prefer this location than the City Place one. This one is much easier to get to from my house, and there's ample parking and even though it's smaller than some of the other stores in the area. I like this one better because it's not as congested as the other locations. The lines are smaller and it's not too much hustle and bustle going on. The sales associates are pleasant and I like the fact that the store is clean and the merchandise doesn't look all picked over.

This place is located literally around the corner from me and it's been in the neighborhood for quite sometime. It's just ok to me. There are a few more Tex-Mex restos on this very street that are quite comparable. Wish everything on Lemmon Ave didn't have to be valet parking lots. The drinks are ok. It gets packed out on the usual Fri/Sat nights though, but they're not in my top 5 of Tex-Mex in Dallas, sorry. Just my opinion.

This is some of the best chicken in town! The seasoning on the chicken and greatness. I always would call in my order so I wouldn't have to wait in the long line. But matters if you do or not, you'll be waiting regardless, but oh it will be worth it in the end. The just built a new facility which it's nicer and bigger and now they have two lines for the drive-thru, however you will still be waiting. Just make sure you're not hungry when you go, it'll take you at least a good 45 min to maybe an hour to get through the line. If there were a best time to go I wish I knew, matters what time the day or not or weekend or anything, the lines are extra long. Everyone I know who have tasted Rudy's loves them. They are a staple in Oak Cliff for sure.

I never realized all this time that this particular resto was right here in Deep Ellum. They had another location on Live Oak that shut down and moved to where they are now. It still looks fairly new on the inside. The waitress said that they've been opened for at least two years now. The drinks are ok. Not a lot of seating, but the plus about this place is they have free parking which is very rare in Deep Ellum. The food is just ok, I've had better cajun food elsewhere. Not sure if I'll be going back again.

This is some of the best home-grown Tex-Mex food around town! All of my coworkers go here for lunch, matter of fact they went today! I grew up on the food from the Oak Cliff location and it's still the same cheesy gooeyness as I've remembered as child. They have been a staple in the community and glad that they opened another location on Sylvan. If you're not used to spicy, take it easy on the salsa. I love it, it's perfection to me, but it does have a kick. I swear I can eat their salsa and chips for dinner and nothing else. If you want good Dallas Tex-Mex at a reasonable price, this is the very place to get it.

I went here one year for my birthday and it was the best! I felt so bad by being from Dallas and never even gone so couldn't wait another year. It was very interesting and it was pretty cool to go through the museum with your ear buds on. So even if you have people in your group, you didn't have to wait for them. Of course it's a tourist's spot, but the line went pretty fast and smooth.

This place is one of the best in town for an afternoon or an evening full of culture. Back in the day they used to have this series called Jazz under the Stars which my friends and I would gather every Thursday in the summer and drink and listen to great jazz. They stopped that program however they still run the Jazz in the Atrium series that's held inside. You can go on guided tours or either conduct your own. The employees are friendly and even the security guards are helpful and will point you in the right direction of which ever exhibit you'd like to explore. I used to hold a membership a few years back and it definitely has it's perks. Free parking and special invites to exclusive programs that are members only.
