I purchased a 2016 Toyota Tundra 25 April 2016 from FiveStar Toyota in Milledgeville,Ga. I left the dealership with a "WeOwe” slip to install a cover for the bed of the truck which they took off a 2012 Tundra. It was put on vehicle I purchached but not properly centered.
Second item on “We Owe” slip is the"Remote starter", I was told by Mr. Lamar Forman that I could take a check with me to have remote installed anywhere I chose. I declined the check, stating I would preferr to have it installed by Toyota and since I live in MD, I request they contact BowieToyota make arrangements to have it installed, but that never materialized. Fast foreward 24May2016 I contacted the Toyota headquarters in California spoke with several represenatives for Toyota in reference to this matter in seeking help to have FiveStar honor the “WeOwe" slip.
FiveStar contacted me, after several phone calls they agreed to have the remote installed by Bowie Toyota, During the process I informed Fivestar I would also have the after market cover they improperly installed, corrected. The cover has been corrected, remote installed,
The bill came to 1,172.64. Now FiveStar only wants to play $800.00 telling me they think that's fair. Now my vehicle is being held hostage because Five Star has not honored the we owe credit slip..
Lee Baggarly (FiveStar)had to the opportunity to speak with the Assistant Service Manager before the work was done.
It's bad enough they put a aftermarket cover ( telling me it was only 6 months old ) on my new truck...that was not placed properly
Toyota is an Outstanding vehicle and don’t have to be sold by deception. All I am asking is to get what I am owed and am paying for. As of 06 June 2016 my truck is still at Bowie Toyota in Md incurring storage fees.

Dear all,

I'm contacting with you from Dubai, UAE. I'm an owner of a Toyota Avalon, and I have a problem that I would like to share with you seeking your help.

It's been almost 16 months since I got a brand new 2014 Avalon from Dubai showroom and I noticed that there was something wrong with the rear brake pads as I used to hear metal to metal contact sounds. When I informed the showroom about it they advised me to change the pads and that will not be included in the warranty.
I took their advice, changed the pads and cleaned the disks. However, one week later I started to gradually hear the voice again.
Later on, I had an accident where I hit another car from its back side when my brakes disappointed me and couldn't stop the car as they should although I was doing a low speed.

The air bags went out and the car was massively damaged. The showroom assessed the car and classified it as salvage (total loss) as the approximate repair cost reached up around 79,000 AED. However, the insurance company after agreeing on the status of the car suddenly changed their mind and insisted to repair the car.

What I came to know from the showroom that the remaining stock from 2014 that was being sold in 2015 had some imperfections in the brake system, sensitivity of the front objects detector and air the bag sensors. As I received a call from Toyota custom care center that I need to turn over my vehicle to repair those imperfections when it was too late as I got this call almost a week after the accident. Now after what I went through everything was denied and I'm the one to be blamed.

This was also my friends' opinion who experienced that same car and the same model. The problem is unsolved till now and it's been 6 months as the accident happened on 15-12-2015. They haven’t completed repairing the car even though I disagreed on getting it repaired and 6 months is not acceptable to any customer waiting for their own vehicles to get repaired and during this 6 months period I had to rent a vehicle that I can use and ended up paying 4000 AED / month for straight 6 months for now and god knows till when. They have promised me to provide me a replacement until the issue is solved, which was never done of course.

Through several arguments, after getting disappointed from Lulua working in the body shop customer case I was able to reach and communicate with the customer care manager for Dubai Showrooms Khalid Al Mazmi, who arranged to have a meeting with me to discuss the whole case, firstly offered providing a replacement car until the issue is resolved, completing repairing all damages with the vehicle, changing tires as it stayed parked for 6 months without moving till now, repairing all external scratches and dents occurred due to misuse and mishandle while it’s in the workshop, repairing inside seat leather which got teared off due to putting tools inside the care during the repair, the penalty to be paid for insurance as I was considered at fault by the police for the accident when it was all due to manufacturing defects and finally the penalty for traffic department for delaying the car renewal.

This is a very essential safety matter in the first place not mentioning the huge amount of money that I lost and still losing. Further, the price drop of the car I own is going to be massive which is totally unfair.

I hope that my case is being heard by everyone, to set an example on how Toyota’s customer care is down to the ground, I have sent my case and raised official complaints to Toyota USA, Toyota Dubai Showroom, Ministry of Economic Department, Dubai Consumer Protection and Authority of Insurance.

If You have been in such a case, or you know anyone who went through such a case, please advise on what’s best to be fairly done to minimize my losses as much as possible as I have tried to depend on government departments and the issue is still unsolved, I have tried to reach to the all Toyota departments here in Dubai and nobody was useful for me.

This was a very bad experience with Toyota that I totally regret.

I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOYOTA AGAIN! BEWARE TOYOTA! In Broward County, south Florida, Toyota has the worst dealers. CROOKS AND LIARS and Toyota does NOTHING TO POLICE THEM! They will rip you off, give you mis-information and cheat you. Warranty Service? A joke. Toyota Care? Bumper to Bumper? A LIE. The dealers LIE and will not honor their commitment. I had numerous bad experiences where I bought the car at Hollywood Toyota, so, recently, I picked a new dealer for my service. Weston Toyota. I had a defect in the glass/plastic that covers the speedometer window. There was small marks on the inside of the glass where the customer/driver can't touch it. On the side of the speedometer. I had the problem when I bought the car, but, you get busy and I had more problems than this to deal with. Anyway, at 5000 miles, I brought it in to Weston Toyota and introduced myself to the Customer Care Director and told him I had some bad experiences and was looking for a new dealer to take care of me. I told him of my problem. He said to me, "Why don't you bring it to Al Hendrickson Toyota?" That was his answer to me! When I showed it to him, he said, "he didn't want to get involved since it wasn't his car and as a courtesy he would give me a break and charge me only 1-hour of labor to replace the part which I had to pay for, as well. The glass was around $25 and the labor was around $145. I was out $170.00. I paid out of pocket and asked for the part back and then called Toyota to tell them I wanted to send the part back to them because I thought Toyota should pay for it and the customer service clerk on the phone told me I should have created a case first and that Weston Toyota should have created a work order to examine it, officially. I'm a customer. How am I to know procedures? I walked into a new dealer and asked for the Customer Care guy, introduced myself to him and got suckered into him trying to "avoid getting involved" like he said. Maybe I should have taken his advice and gone to Al Hendrickson Toyota. I talked to another Toyota dealer and told him the part and the labor and how it clearly shows defect in the glass on the speedometer side and he told me that he treated me like that because it wasn't his car and he probalby would have charged me NOTHING and fixed it without incident if I had bought the car there. So, here I am with a brand new car with 5000 miles and I'm an orphan. I have zero dealer relationship and a bumper to bumper warranty that's meaningless. My friend drives a Cadillac and GM has arbitration. I don't even know what would happen if something serious needed to be serviced under warranty. His $60k Cadillac isn't as reliable as Toyota and breaks down, but, GM gives him a brand new loaner Cadillac free of charge and he never has to fight with the dealer over getting repairs honored. Never a hassle. He even had a problem in Tampa and they took care of him like family. When I bought my 2006 Highlander, I had to go to Central Florida to buy it. I got so turned off by the crooked sales experience in Broward County that I bought the Highlander in Central Florida. Biggest mistake I made was buying this 2016 Camry in Broward County. If you have to live in Broward and depend on the horrible dealers down here, THEN DON'T BUY A TOYOTA! They all suck. They all lie. They all cheat. The sales experience at Hollywood Toyota was the worst experience in my life of owning cars. There's something seriously wrong, for example, when dealers like Hollywood Toyota, kept ignoring escalations from Toyota in California. They basically ignored Toyota. They don't care. They spit at Toyota corporate. Toyota has no control over the dealers. They do what they want down here. The bait and switch liar advertising that goes on down here would be criminal in some states. Yes, criminal. I know I sold advertising to dealers, at one time and the verbiage used in the big newspaper ads down here by some of the crooked Toyota dealers would not pass the scrutiny in places like New York and California. I will have to take a loss, but, in a few months, I will trade in this Toyota Camry to divorce myself from Toyota and bad Toyota deales, forever. I hate you, Toyota and every time I get into that 2016 Camry I resent it and it brings up bitter bitter feelings. I'd trade it in today, but, I'd lose too much money. I can't wait for the day I can be rid of Toyota for good.
