Great friendly people. Lloyd is fantastic as a salesman and a great person to speak with. That being said, considering service times take 3X as long as a jiffy lube or Firestone for just an oil change....you'd think "Toyota" or whomever owns this dealership could splurge for some magazine subscriptions....currently looking at a motor trend from December 2012....just saying , it's $15 per year. Good thing I brought my own magazines...(learned the last time)

A BIG, BIG shout out to Toyota of Portsmouth, especially to David Anderson and Adam Veinotte for getting me into my new 2016 Tacoma! The exceptional levels of sales and service along with vehicle knowledge was second to none! I have owned Nissan's since the mid 90's and due to the lack of redesign of the Frontier and the discontinuing of the Xterra I knew it was time for a change! This is the place to go to buy your Toyota! I look forward to years of quality service here!!

Today I went for an appointment that I scheduled online few days ago in order to set up the auto starter in my car. I created a customer account online which provided the dealership the type of car I owned and my recent car history. The appointment was made online and according to the representatives it did not got communicated between departments (not my problem). My experience was great when I came in and 2 sales people helped me out, one of them said my car was going to start its process and I just waited in the room doing my homework because yes I am a busy person too. After 30 minutes, the sales representative who I bought my car with, came and said hello and told me if I called them for the appointment. I said no, but I got a text message confirming and stating that I just need to call in order to cancel it. Luckily I had the text and they saw it. When he directed me to the person in charge of something (i don't know his name and title), was obviously in a bad mood and treated me the entire time like it was my fault for using the channels they have available for its customers. The guy was so condescending and I had such a bad time understanding if it was my fault or not. I just wanted my car back and get out of that place. His words were "let's schedule another appointment, when do you have time, we will call you next week or whatever" WHATEVER?? really?? Please do not make any appointments online, call directly and hopefully someone nice will help you out. I am not going back to that dealership and I want to make it clear that I am not expecting anything for free. It just frustrates me because I also work in customer service and I am required to go above and beyond with my customers and not receiving the same treatment is very disappointing. I am going to find a different place where I can feel more valuable as a customer. Thanks!

I wanted a particular color and model of Highlander which had become very rare to find. The folks at Toyota of Portsmouth searched high and low, found one and brought it to Portsmouth for me. I love this new car!! This is the second vehicle we have bought there and have been very happy with sales, finance and service.

I recently leased a car for the second time, and my total overall experience was exceptional. My salesman was very encouraging, showed me all of my options, and more importantly, never pressured me to purchase something that I was not completely on board with. I love my new Rav 4, but I am even more pleased with the excellent care I received from the time I entered the door, until the time I left the parking lot with my new car. I was showed extensively of all the features the car had to offer, and my salesman made sure that when I left I was completely comfortable in how to properly use everything the car had to offer. I would Highly recommend to anyone to go in and see for yourself...definitely a 5 star rating!!!!

I first worked with Toyota of Portsmouth and Jim Belmer two years ago on a lease of a 2013 Toyota Rav4. Jim was great to deal with! He was well versed on the car and its features and he reviewed all of my options with me without any pressure. I have continued to have my car serviced at Toyota since. Each time I have brought my car in for routine maintenance, the service department has been great, they were pleasant and quick. Just recently I stopped back into the dealership to talk with Jim about a new lease deal. Jim once again took the time to review my options and even followed up with more details after I left the dealership. Jim has gone above and beyond to provide excellent service to me. I would recommend Toyota of Portsmouth and Jim Belmer to anyone looking to lease or buy.

I have had wonderful experiences at Toyota of Portsmouth and have bought my last two cars there working with Lloyd. He was fantastic in helping me through the process - he is very efficient and a pleasure to work with! And the Service Dept. is the best!!

Toyota of Portsmouth was my first stop in car shopping. I tested a 2014 Corolla and loved it, including the color. Frank Acceta was friendly and helpful, without being (too) pushy. After testing out 3 other cars the same day, I emailed Frank and the dealer to see if they could reduce the price to compete with another offer at a different dealership. Not only did no one respond to my email, but when I used the "chat" feature on the website, the chat agent quoted me a price $1,000 higher than Frank's "special" price. I explained I'd been offered a lower price and then she said "oh yes, I see that. Well, we can't match IRA Manchester's price." I said "okay, I'll be taking my business there. If anything changes let me know." The agent said "Sorry about that. Thanks for the opportunity." I never heard back from Frank or anyone there, which I found vexing and strange considering (I thought) dealers are competitive and want to...sell cars? I was ready to purchase, and lo and behold, found the same vehicle with only 2,000 more miles at Ira Manchester and drove away with it the very next day after I visited Toyota of Portsmouth. Their unwillingness to budge on price lost them a customer--oh well! (By the way, I gave Ira Toyota of Manchester a 5-star rating--go there instead, even if you live on the Seacoast. You can't beat their prices and transparency.)
