Went to the dealership yesterday with my wife, (2/22/14) to look for a used car that I can use to drive until the wheels fall off. I will be putting approximately 30k miles a year on the car. We were greeted by a nice salesman who was knowledgeable that walked us through their lot. We looked at their current inventory and couldn't find anything that met our need (Need: Used sedan around $10k in price with 60-70k miles on it). We sat down at his desk to give him our contact information so that if he did get something in, he could give us a call. After we gave him our information, he brought another sales specialist to talk to us. She was nice to begin with but once I wasn't interested in hearing about her financing options and leasing a car (we are paying cash for the car) she was incredibly unprofessional / rude with a very poor customer service skills. She asked us "What we were doing here?" because it was unrealistic that we could find a sedan for $10k with 60-70k miles at their dealership. She told us to go buy a car from a private party. I see Toyota of North Charlotte's commercials all the time with that dog and this experience was the one and only time I have ever and will ever deal with this dealership. Just imagine, if this is how they treat prospective customers, how would we be treated if we were a current customer. They lost my business before they even had it, and I will tell all of my friends and family to look for a car at any other dealership besides Toyota of North Charlotte.

I was very pleased with the treatment I received when I traded my vehicle due to high mileage. Toyota of North Charlotte was able to get me into a purchase of a new 2014 Camry for a little bit more than I was currently paying monthly. Everyone that I dealership starting with my first phone call from Darla to Shelly at the front door who helped me select & drive the car. Then Sean Pires & Walter Duncan who closed the deal & finally Kim Veney, the finance person; each devoted the necessary time & effort to be sure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I would recommended the dealership to others & I have. This is the 4th Toyota I purchased since 2007.

We had an absolutely horrible experience at Toyota of North Charlotte. They are using dishonest sales pitches to lure people in to their dealership and I would like to keep other consumers from being suckered in, even if you do ask the right questions ahead of time. We had originally purchased our pre-owned vehicle from this dealership less than 2 years ago. We got a phone call from Darla last weekend & she said that her sales manager has a shortage of 2010 Siennas on the lot & they offered to buy back our 2010 Sienna & we would then be able to purchase a brand new Sienna, the same model, for around the same monthly car payment and she already knew how much our payment was. I told her that I would have to talk it over with my husband & that we were not in the position to pay anymore that what we are now. She stated that she understood that. After calling her back & asking several other questions (including would we need to have a down payment) & making sure, again, that she meant a brand new Sienna. She said yes. I also emphasized again that we live 2 hours away, and that we were not going to pay more than we are now. Again, she stated she understood. So we proceeded to make an appointment for a Saturday and we made arrangements for our small children to stay with relatives. As soon as we got there I asked if we could look at the financing part first to see if we would qualify for the same payment before we started getting in the process of looking at vehicles. Darla told us she was sure we'd qualify otherwise her manager would not have had her call us, not really giving us the option of financing first. So then we were immediately taken out on the lot to start looking at cars. After looking at & testing driving one vehicle, and then waiting for a sales manager to get started with the "numbers," it had already been a two hour process. The sales manager asked if we knew how much was left to pay off our car. We didn't know & then he asked ME to Google the phone number to the bank that our loan in through so he could call and find out how much was left on the loan. All along, we had purchased our current pre-owned vehicle from you less than 2 years ago. This information was obviously already available to you. The whole time, any sales associate with whom we dealt with, kept on implying that we had come in because we wanted to trade our vehicle. No one even acknowledged that YOU ALL had initiated this whole process from the beginning. After another hour of waiting to find out the "numbers" another sales manager came back with a monthly payment of almost $300 more a month than our current payment. Then when we said that was out of the question, he said, "Well, would you be interested in another pre-owned vehicle?" Of course not! We are happy with our 2010 Sienna that only has 62k miles on it. The general manager then came out & treated us like fools, stating that obviously there was no way if we purchased a brand new vehicle, we would get the same car payment. Well, we were skeptical about the deal to begin with, but you all obviously lie to get customers into your lot. We are not stupid people, you all insulted us, and thought we were going to be fools. Besides the fact the we drove 2 hours to get there. The general manager gave us a gas voucher for our troubles. That is hardly compensation for our 2 hour drive, finding somewhere for our kids to be, & then another wasted 3 hours of our time on a Saturday at your lot for nothing. Thank goodness our small children did not have to sit there that whole time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Toyota of North Charlotte. The genuine care and knowledge shown by Michael Brown and Jonathan Tatum made the experience definitely worthwhile and enjoyable. I walked away with my new car confident I had made the right choice coming to these guys. I would definitely recommend coming to Toyota of North Charlotte. See Michael Brown and Jonathan Tatum for the best help around.

My wife and worked with Joe Daniels at Toyota of North Charlotte and he was so helpful throughout the whole process. He even walked us to our new after the paperwork was all done and made sure we were happy with our purchase. I would recommend Toyota of NC to anyone in market for a new vehicle. Top notch service and customer care.

I went to Toyota of North Charlotte today for my final try at fixing a really crappy upside down situation with my car. I was hesitant to even try again... I was thrown off by someone wanting me to pick out a car before talking numbers especially when Paul took me outside to do so. I have difficulty walking and issues with tremors and was embarrassed when I froze up completely. Paul was patient, kind caring and so considerate as to make the process as movement free as possible! Then I was taken to talk money. SteveGregory helped me get into a car I love! and I can afford it! Joe Veditz takes very special care of his customers!!!
