Hey everyone, now that the Nikon D500 has officially been announced, I am extremely excited to share that I worked on the launch campaign for this camera. I've put together a post on the D500, I hope you'll check it out.
It’s been a big day for Nikon announcements at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, with launches of the Nikon D500,..

Great review +Todd Owyoung! Thanks.
I shoot Special events (usually corporate, parties, etc. Shooting in low light, this sounds like a huge upgrade from my d7000. Looking forward to trying it out.

How about people with semi-professional gear that are trying to document the local music scene to try to keep it alive and vibrant? I swear I am not using an Iphone (I don't even have one :) )

Great review +Todd Owyoung. I've been reviewing an X100 for the past couple of weeks as I look for a compact camera for my days off. Although I love the styling, viewfinder, and image quality, I don't think the Fuji X100 (or X-Pro 1) is for me.

They both cost a lot, the AF is slow and inaccurate against running toddlers, and the MFD of the X100 is fairly limiting to me. Sure, the camera can be thrown into macro mode, but then the camera switches over to the EVF which is laggy and makes me dizzy.

I'm still figuring out what compact will make me the happiest on my days off. I'm starting to think that being a full time photographer has set my standards too high for a compact camera. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

My review of the Sigma 50mm f/1.4. Is this the best 50mm for you? Lots of sample images, I had fun with this one!
It’s not very often that a third-party lens manufacturer challenges the likes of Nikon and Canon, let alone Zeiss, but..

It gets worse. Photo credits for Getty's freely embeddable images are easily cropped out with a simple change to the embed code.

Amazon's deal of the day is a Kindle Fire for $140. Refurbished, but dang, pretty cheap!

I recently got a custom ball from Dino as a birthday present from my girlfriend. We went in to see what bowling balls he offered and got his recommendation based on how and where I bowl. Dino was very thorough in making his measurements, double and triple checking everything. He even gave me in a free ball bag to take the ball home, even though I'd brought a messenger bag to carry the ball. Overall, very satisfied with Dino's Pro Shop. Five stars for his recommendations and thoroughness.
