Horns weren't originally associated with malevolence. They were always a symbol of royal dignity and power. Ancient gods and super beings had horns. Kings adorned headdresses with horns as a symbol of strength, supremacy, sovereignty and regal dignity. Horns meant glory as well as aggressive ferocity, and were often placed on helmets for battle. In addition to physical strength and generative power, horns symbolized mental and spiritual strength as well. In the Bible, scriptures referring to a horn or horns symbolize spiritual truth and power, though they're often misinterpreted as referring to a horn as in a brass instrument. Unless specifically stated that the horn is being blown, (though these horns may be blown as well) or specified as brass, it's most likely talking about a horn as pictured a
or similar.
