My family, friends & I always look forward to staying in one the cabins from Timber Tops. We usually go to Tennessee every year. The cabins are very spacious, & we'll arranged. The staff @ Timber Tops are always willing and ready to help us find the perfect cabin to accommodate our group. They are also very helpful with directing us on events and entertainment in the area during the times we are visiting. They have a large variety of cabins to choose from. They also have return customer discounts. Great company, great cabins & a great town! !!

I wish I didn't even have to give Timber Tops one star. I have been waiting for the manager to call me back for two weeks now. We were on our vacation when we were called back home because my father in law was dying. We stayed one night of the four nights and all we were asking was for at least two nights back and we were wiling to pay for other nights. The manager would not even call us back with a simple yes or no answer. All they kept telling us that they were short staffed and she was really backed up but two weeks to get a returned phone call, I would say poor customer service. I was also told that Timber Tops would loose money. Whatever I'm sure they make plenty of money. But the cabin we stayed in Scenic Mountain Pool was nice.

Where should I start?!? The Majestic Cabin looked great online. It was beautiful!!! My family planned a trip to the mountains and we were looking forward to a relaxing weekend!! It was FAR FROM THAT!! When we arrived to the cabin it was NOT clean! The dishes were dirty, the fire pit had a dirty diaper in there, the hot tub had a nasty white foamy substance floating in it (clearly bacteria), the refrigerator never got cold, one of the stove tops wasn't working, the covers clearly haven't been clean since they were first purchased and most of all the cabin had BED BUGS.. You read it clearly BED BUGS!!!! When we noticed them we IMMEDIATELY called the front office and was given the run around. We even took pictures and a video of the actual bed bug crawling on the sheets!! We were promised earlier that we would receive clean linen but that never happened. It was a terrible experience! The person that we spoke with over the phone that evening told us that we would be moved to another cabin in the morning and that there was guaranteed space for us to move. He mentioned that house cleaning would come in at 8am and would give us clean linen since it wasn't delivered when we called the first time. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. We had called the front office to make sure that we were able to move but the lady said that she had to call the Orkin man to confirm that it was actually bed bugs that we saw. And like we have been explaining all along it was! To make a long story short I WILL NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS STAY AT THESE CABINS AGAIN!! I do not care if they were giving out free nights every weekend I WILL NOT BE THERE!! To save you the pain and misery PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to throw away your hard earned money and be a late night snack for bed bugs!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Super gross!!!! :(

My family stayed at the River Adventure Lodge and it was extremely disappointing. If I could give it less than one star, I would. The place is in terrible condition. It is clearly not well-managed. There was a wasp nest on the playground. My child was stung by two wasps at once. The 10 kids in our group never wanted to go out there again because they were so afraid, even after we removed it ourselves. The door to the refrigerator had no handle; the oven did not work properly; one of the bathtubs did not hold water; there were holes in the shower in another bathroom; the ceiling fan in one room wobbled and was far too close to the top bunk to be safe; the wifi was never functional; the outdoor lighting was knocked out by a storm and was never restored, rendering the outside un-usable/dangerous in the dark; the air hockey table did not work; the bumpers on the pool table fell off; the smell of sulfur from the water was overwhelming; the furniture (indoor and outdoor) was worn. The list could go on. The staff was either slow to respond or completely unresponsive to calls for assistance with the wifi and outdoor lighting. I understand that there is some wear and tear on rental property that is in constant use, and expect some flaws as a result. In the case, however, the place is in such terrible shape that the descriptions of the house/grounds and the pictures on the website certainly qualify as false and misleading advertising. "Luxury" is indeed a misnomer. The beauty of the river was not enough to off-set the absolute disaster of the rest of the site. We will never rent from Timber Tops again.

The view was ok...However, the cabin was filthy! There was so much dust, my son's allergies were affected. We wait all day and most if the night for the jacuzzi to heat...only to feel like we were in a soup of bacteria! Ot was beyound nasty! Currently with seven small children in our party, we have no water....literally can't flush toilets...i am extremely unsatisfied!

If I could give a NEGATIVE star I would. The only reason I am giving it a 1 star is so I can write a review. My family and I stayed at STONE CREEK CABIN. It was the worst place I ever stayed at. We paid $1750.00 for seven nights and we only got to use HALF of the cabin. The upper level was infested with BEES on the INSIDE of the cabin. We called guest services the second day we were there. The maintenance guy came out two days later and said they would have to call an exterminator. The exterminator came out and sprayed the outside of the cabin so we had to call guest services again. This time they got the exterminator to spray the inside of the cabin our last night there. One of my family members were stung by the bees the very last night. Every time I called guest services they said they would call back but never did. When we first called they said they would give us a refund but we had to find another place to stay and they were completely booked. We drove 12 hours to get there so we just decided to stay in the cabin and only use half of it. The manager was very rude her name was Mandy. She should have been willing to accomadate us with another cabin. I believe since we only used half of the cabin then we should have been give a refund of half the price we paid. Mandy the manager said all she could refund us was 2 1/2 days at the cheapest night stayed. I asked to speak to her supervisor but she would not let me. She stated " the upper management doesn't talk to the guest". I have tried several times to speak to the upper management but I could not get pass Mandy. I hope the owner of the STONE CREEK CABIN will read this review so they can be aware of what happen at their CABIN. One of the maintenance guy said he would have asked for a FULL REFUND. All I asked for was Half and I couldn't get that. The beds in the cabin were very uncomfortable and the sheets were dingy. My family members had to sleep on the sofa and chairs since we couldn't use the upper part of the cabin where two bedrooms were located. The decks were filthy. The barbeque pit that is seen in the pictures is not the one at the actually cabin. The pit that is at the cabin is old and run down. The description said the kitchen table holds 8 people but that is a lie. There are only 6 chairs at the table. The shower curtain had mold on it and the tub drained very slowly. We also had to call the maintenance crew out for the Theater room wouldn't work two of the days that we were there. Timber tops is the worst company I have ever used for cabin rentals. I will never use this company again. Please read the review before booking with Timber Tops.

This was my 2nd time staying in one of timber top cabins. I stayed in The Majestic and it pretty much ruined my vacation that I had planned for months. The cabin was so dirty it made no sense! There were dirty dishes with crumbs in the cabinets..the comforters were dirty...the hot tub was dirty.. beer cans and a diaper was near the fire pit area. They failed to tell us that the gas grills were no longer available so we had to drive all the way back down the moutain into town to find charcoal for our cookout. We had to call maintance to help fix one of the doors that was stuck. I was just so disappointed and a little embarrassed because I planned the trip. The icing on the cake is that one of the rooms had bed bugs!!!. We called the office again and was told they would send new bedding because they all were dirty... no one ever came up to give us new bedding. Most of us slept upstairs on the couches and put chairs together to lay down on because we didn't want to get our blood sucked by bed bugs. We had to cut our stay short and had move out the next day after they brought in a professional company to confirm it was bed bugs. Luckily we found a hotel and luckily timber tops gave us a FULL refund. I was really looking forward to the trip. I probably will not rent out a cabin with this company again. I am normally not one to complain..but this was down right ridiculous for the amount of money they charge. There was nothing luxury about that cabin. Bottom line is they need a new cleaning crew!!!

It's just OKAY... I would given it 2 Stars, but "Disliked it!" was not the sentiment I wanted to share. I stayed in the "A beautiful Gatlinburg View" cabin. The view is beautiful - indeed. The accommodations were not worth the price per night. It is not as spiffy as the pictures lead you to be. The carpets were VERY stained throughout the cabin and had not been vacuumed. The lack of cleanliness made it tough to sleep in the bed - just wondering...There is a closet of some sort on the lower level with a least 3 feet of dirty sheets and such...Just gross! The point of renting this cabin was for it's view; 3 floors each with it's own deck. One would expect decent patio furniture. Plastic would have been better than the wooden rickety rocking chairs. The house could sleep 7 comfortably but there were only 4 chairs. The main floor's media center was a joke! None of the remotes worked properly and the TV kept shutting off. The TV's aspect ratio was not correct and I couldn't scroll through the cable channels. We laughed the first few times - then it was just annoying. The hot tub was NOT hot - again, one of the amenities that made us choose this cabin.

I recently stayed at the Enchanted Hideaway from March 7th through the 10th. I must say that I have stayed at many places but the hospitality of this place was amazing. The staff were very helpful in every question that I had for them. The whole process from checking in to the day that we checked out was great. The pictures of the cabin were perfect! It was a slightly a bit smaller than we expected but still amazing none the less. It also wasn't as secluded as we thought that it would be but at the same time no one can see you through the lush green woods, however you are 5 feet from the cabins around you. It was still an amazing experience and I will for sure be renting with Timber Tops again in the future!
